The PlayStation Store came back last night, and naturally that means only one thing ... people are struggling to access the PlayStation Store.
The PlayStation Network is trying to deal with an inevitable surge of traffic as people desperately try to get their hands on weeks of backed up content. Sony has confirmed that "extremely high traffic" is causing people to receive error messages, but that it'll ease up as the day goes on.
"There are so many of you accessing the store at the moment that due to the excessive load, it is a little slow," said Nick Caplin. "We are improving it as I write this, so you will see improvements in speed as the day progresses."
If you absolutely must get your inFAMOUS 2 demo right this instant, you should be able to just keep trying and blast through any error messages. Just be aware that you're part of the problem if you do this, and thus you are scum.

they had NO IDEA that after over 5 WEEKS of NO ONLINE SERVICE people would actually try to use their online service? didn't they learn from all the problems with changing password like 4-5 days ago?!

Keep trying to download it if you have'nt, just don't try to download anything else, since the jerkoffs who are doing that, are the one's really slowing down the system. Some guy in a previous post by Tony Ponce said he was downloading 25 games....ass-munch.... Destructoid should be devoid of butt-nuggets like that.

Pure opinion - Shadow Complex has far more in common with Metroid than Outland does...it feels more like Castlevania. So while you think it's overrated, boring crap, others found a lot in it. Like myself.
This is one reason why I'm waiting for the crown to die down. I don't want to be part of the problem when the shit breaks again.

Can I purchase games for my PSN account through the PSN website? I'm only asking because my PS3 has broken down (again), and I'm going to send it back for repairs, but it could take months before I get it back, and I'd rather get the free games locked into my account in case I have to buy a new PS3.

Nope, it's for the US,EU, and all areas of Asia last time I checked. EU gets the same games as the US though, the only difference is that EU gets Ratchet & Clank: Quest for Booty instead of Super Stardust HD.

Its a FREE service, and if greedy fucks like yourself want to flood it and fuck it up for everyone else, so be it. I'm not trying to dictate, I'm just trying to let people know that if you bombard it again right now because you have nothing better to do than play psn games because you have no life, then it's not going to be available for everyone to enjoy..... I want to get on there just as much as the next guy, all I'm saying is that if you do, take it easy... flooding the service is going to get it shut down again for who knows how long.

Definitely go for Shadow Complex. I played Outland and SC. SC is wayyy better. Outland is oK, but kinda shallow and boring. SC is like a re-done metroid or symphony of the night, you always get a little excitement when you find hidden stuff and areas. I'd suggest going for SC first and then try the Outland demo to see if it's up your alley.
