PSA: Walmart selling $170 3DS starting today! photo

Just a friendly reminder that Walmart has started to sell the Nintendo 3DS for $169.99 today, allowing consumers to exploit the 3DS Ambassador program by registering their system early and qualifying for Nintendo's twenty free games. The handheld isn't supposed to drop its price until August 12.

So long as you get your 3DS connected to the eShop by Friday, Nintendo will think you bought your console at full price and offer ten free NES games alongside ten free Game Boy Advance ones. It's the kind of scam worthy of Carmen Sandiego herself.

So, go do that soon if you're planning to!

Namco has made another Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures

Coming to PS3, 360, Wii U, and 3DS this fall, a sequel to "an emotionless venture that's devoid of any soul or effort." I guess Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures, which is based on the new Pac-Man television series, did well enough to warrant a sequel.more
