It's so bad... So... bad. I thought being different from previous games was a good thing. It could've been. But this... it's truly horrific viewed as a game. And even more as a C&C game.

Screw all this Kane and nod and GDI crap. I want a new Generals damn it. With all the RTS games trying something different them going back to the regular formula would of been a breath of fresh air.
Here's a hint for you EA. Don't fuck with established franchises with complete changes of what they are. You make new games for that sort of crap. Now you've alienated the long time C&C players by changing what a C&C game is, and new players by putting all this in a game that is the end of very long story.

Meh. I got mild enjoyment out of C&C3 and I've yet to play RA3.
I might play this when it is down to bargain bin prices but unlike most, I don't blame EA for the demise of C&C. Westwood took a big trip downhill with Tiberian Sun and then Renegade (which I still found OK). I thought RA2 and the Generals games were great but then they were both made after Westwood basically was EA.

ok so i got the code last night, went to the site, followed the instructions..signed into my ea account, made a cnc.com account and then it takes me to a page that says how long ive been a member and nothing else.
am i missing something?

I'm thinking of checking out the reviews and YouTube videos that are inevitably going to show up within a few days. It's easier and requires less time. And if the game is nearly as bad as people are saying it is, then I should solemnly say that an amazing game franchise has been butchered today.
Soooo, when can we expect this collection to come out, anyway? I have a tight gaming schedule here... Especially feb and march, it's gonna be insane
