[Update: And just like that, PAX Prime 2013 is completely, utterly, sold out of passes in just under six hours or so.]

Registration for PAX Prime just opened up, and if you want to attend, you're going to have to act fast. Even though passes to the show just went on sale, they traditionally sell out incredibly quickly.

Four-day passes were sold out within minutes, but individual day badges are still available. Daily passes cost $30 each, whereas the four-day badges were $95.

The show will take place from August 30 through September 2 this year. This marks the first time that PAX will be a four-day event instead of the usual three.

Bethesda said its big reveal of Doom -- that is in fact "Doom," not "Doom 4" -- at QuakeCon would be for attendees only, not for us Internet ne'er-do-wells, but I still watched the QuakeCon stream like a sucker, anyway. When ...more

Nintendo's Comic-Con lineup includes Super Smash Bros., Hyrule Warriors

Nintendo is calling their San Diego Comic-Con lineup their biggest ever. To me it looks like they packed up their E3 showing and saved it for SDCC. That's great news as their E3 showing was fantastic.  They're back at th...more
