It looked pretty rough from the gameplay videos I've seen, but I was still interested. I most certainly would have bought the game today if I would have not read what you just posted. I usually don't pay much attention to reviews, but it appears you are very sincere about how bad this game is. I've enjoyed games you've given a 6, but I'm sure this is gonna be a universally bad game. What ya giving it? 2.5?

I knew this game wouldn't be any good. Just from looking at the developer walk-throughs and trailers, I knew to stay away and wait for reviews. Turns out it's worse then I thought it would be.

I always thought this game looks like garbage. I said it in the other post the other day despite some fool challenging my opinion saying this game looks just as good as all the other high profile horror games. I lol.

Sigh.. If you say so Jim, I trust you. Caught your thoughts on it yesterday (I managed to float over to your twitter for some reason) and I'm happy you elaborated on it more.
In other news I'd like to ask if you've gotten to play the FFXIII-2 Demo (you've probably managed to play more, but I guess we'd stick to the demo for prosperity)? Wasted a good hour plus of my life on that last night. Hated it, turned me off to giving the game an objective shot like I was going to allow it. To put my impression in the most basic terms: Its FFXIII (The fighting system -whether you loved it or hated it- with a small twists that gets annoying fairly quickly), with towns, with a load of NPC's randomly talking at you (that you have no real indication of who you SHOULD be talking to). Only saving grace -in the demo at least- was that no characters were so annoying that I wanted to shove them into Ifrits furnace. Demo had SPARCE tutorials too, so if you hadden't played FFXIII for a while and didn't remember the gist of combat, you were pretty much chowder till you remembered.
Also played Asura's Wrath.. I can't decide if I liked it. It looked nice. Sounded great (I need a voice cast list, I'm sure 100% of the voices I heard were from Dragon Ball Z). Gameplay was batshit crazy. Only problem I had (other then it being a Capcom game and my not being happy with their operations any more) was the demo -at least- made the game out to be a series of QTEs leading to sparse sections that you can control yourself. Yeah, the things in those QTEs were fun to play out, but it didn't feel like I was playing all that much more then I was watching.

I always want to know what devs are thinking when they have to release a crappy broken game. I mean budgets on titles like this only allow for so much time and you probobly have to release it and recoup some loss. unfortunately you may also gain bad favor with customers and be judged in the future on this game's merits. I guess the good news would be a game like this will be bought by few and remembered by fewer maybe they try their hands at something more in the capabilities next time. I was never looking forward to this but would love to hear actual commentary on a failed endeavor. I doubt they actually want to "fool" anyone. I'm sure they know what their product is and are as disapointed as anyone.
I thank you jim, I didn't look much into this game but, it seems that this game was destined to suck right from its conception...the devs were seriously thinking about making a quick buck rather a solid game....well see with the review, but, with you posting this...we know what to expect already -_-

I'm actually doing a review of this game for my school paper. So I had to buy it. Hopefully there is some good in this game.
Jim Sterling is the last opinion you should trust. His taste is defined by hubris derived from the undeserved attention you all give him. I can't speak as to if Amy is bad or not but his post is pointless (PSA? hardly.) because you're better off downloading the trial and deciding for yourself rather than listen to him. He gets off on the attention he gets from spreading negativity. He's not some bad-boy outlaw game journo' jus' tellin it like it is, he's a professional troll with a cheering section. Just wanted to share that thought.
