PSA: Def Jam Rapstar now $39.99 photo

Just a heads up to anyone looking for something to do with your family this holiday: have you considered Def Jam Rapstar? The game has received a price drop, now $39.99 for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Wii.

That's down from $59.99 for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, and $49.99 on the Wii. Guesses on whether or not slow sales dictated the price drop would all be speculatory but... okay, let's just go with that. It's a shame, because the game is pretty decent, taking a piece of the music game genre that had previously been untapped. They've even been doing a decent job of supporting the title with quite a bit of downloadable content.

The new $39.99 price is for the game only; Def Jam Rapstar requires a microphone to play. If you need one of those, you'll have to pony up an extra 10 dollars for the bundle.

Making multiplayer music in Fantasia: Music Evolved

Harmonix revealed a multiplayer mode for Fantasia: Music Evolved at GDC last week alongside some new songs and levels.
