The "First Strike" add-on for Call of Duty: Black Ops won't be exclusive to Xbox 360 much longer. The window is closing, and Activision has come out with a date for the PlayStation Network release: March 3.
Four multiplayer maps and a new zombie level for $15 is what the pack entails, for those not aware. Either you're in, or you are most certainly out. As for the PC version, look for Treyarch to release that "later in the quarter"; an actual date will be revealed soon.
Considering "First Strike" did 1.4 million downloads in its first 24 hours on Xbox LIVE, statistically, a good portion of you guys reading this right now are hell of pumped for this content.

So this is kinda useless to me now, not because I hate CoD (I think Black Ops is the best CoD, second only to Big Red One), but because everyone else will be playing Killzone or something.
Sucks. I really like those maps.
You're insane. You might see a decrease with the release of Killzone 3, but IMO KZ3's multiplayer isn't as addictive as CoD's. I play Black Ops only a little more than I do KZ3. Probably because Blops supports splitscreen.
Nearly 800,000 people were playing on the PS3 during the Double XP, and on average I see around 500,000 people playing. I don't think it's going to shrink significantly before March 3.
Although the little dicks thing can be funny....
first they let this crap of black ops for ps3 get passed the checks for top notch games and then they let this ps3 hacking shit go down. I understand psn is free to a sorten level and that to play xboxlive (aka with other online people) you need pay, but god damn sony.. you have much more then what your showing and i fear that due to this lack of effort on your end im just gonna go off on a hunch saying you guys aren't doing too well now days :\ Sure you psp2! coming... surre.. *cough* Nintendo's gonna kill u sells wise *cough cough*. i mean their systems underpriced and limited store wise, you guys are gonna likely overload on psp2's just like yah did with the psp go or whatever the fuk that thing wass.. i sorta lost myself here what was i talking about? oh yeahh i think Treyarch was payed secretly to half ass the ps3 copy orrr sony is lacking effort wise like i said before. I'm kinda with Arthur on this one, KZ3 just doesn't seem to have that lasting appeal. Unless of course we get a new co-op mode.

KZ3 has a good balance on it. Idk why people treats CoD like the god of fps when it clearly sucks.
There was a time when developers gives us more maps for fan service. I understand that it cost money too. But didn't they already made a gazillion out of it.? Yet they still overcharge us for something that they could give us for free and give back to the community that supports them. they're just as worst as capcom. They don't deliver fan service. I'm really sad the way of gaming that we now have today.
So yeah,. I'll have personally migrated far away from Black Ops by the time this hits, what with Killzone 3 and Homefront...
Of course even if it was not late I still would not expect to pay for it. Pay DLC multiplayer additions that are not expansion packs on any platform are one of the many banes of modern gaming. And that is not hyperbole as it is cash grabs like this that screw up online communities.

KZ3, does not. Well, besides the campaign, but I'm waiting on the demo to see if I'd be willing to pay $60. Seriously though, a horde type mode would remove all hesitation.
