Equal treatment?
When I can buy a new copy of Bad Company 2 for $6.70 on my PS3, then we can talk about equal treatment.
When TF2 on the consoles receives all the updates for free that the PC has gotten, then we can talk about equal treatment.
When PC releases are 60 bucks, just like their console counterparts, then we can talk about equal treatment.
Until then, the collective PC Elitist community can go shove a mouse up their asses.

Damn, that's surprising. From experience, PC BC2 teamwork is mainly sitting in the back, sniping. I actually have a screenshot of 10 snipers bunched together on the first hill in Port Valdez. That's what you get when you start marketing to the COD crowd, EA.

I feel ya on that. Assault is my class of choice and all, mainly because I like being an expendable foot soldier who can have a blind, almost suicidal fixation on the objective without being a detriment to the rest of the team, but I do feel a lot of regret when I'm staring at a dead team mate and haven't the means to revive him. Hence why usually when I see a medic die right next to me I'll probably pick his kit up just to save his life.

I still want to get this. I loved BC1 on 360 and still play it. However it sounds like there is a lot to get annoyed about. I was reading about the overabundance of snipers 5 months ago and it is STILL a problem? I think I'll wait a little longer.

I was playing today and I was thinking this would have been way better if each player had to unlock it for themselves by completing (an obviously much lower, but still fairly high) amount of team actions. It would be a great way to try to teach people how to not play like jackholes.
I actually find it very interesting that PC hit the target so much sooner despite having less people playing overall, and less hours logged. That says something about the PC and console shooter communities if you ask me.

i think they opened it because now there's really no point. there is no competition and it was obvious PS3 was gonna receive it last. while the PS3 community is really smaller than the PC community, you Xbox players have no right to be mad. statistics say you are more numerous than us. we did not cheat or 'whore' our way up, we just played the game. this is how we play. when we see a person, we drop them a medkit or an ammo box, just in case. when we can, we spot (i understand that it's easier for us with the q button being closer than the back button on the gamepad). when we can, we repair.

While I'm glad I get to play Operation Hastings (I don't have Vietnam for the PC version yet), I think this kinda sucks. I wanted to work at the goal. Ah well.

It's a shame the map isn't that great. The biggest problem is even with 32 players the map feels so desolate and empty, I can't imagine how it will feel with only 24. The outsides of the map are blank while the middle is moderately dense which is a side effect from it being an 'updated' version of the BF:V Operation Hastings.

While playing this game on XBox sometimes i'm the only medic reviving anybody on the team. It's annoying to be the only one trying to play as a team, but usually if you do enough work reviving people, the others will notice and protect you.
So, you can inspire teamwork from the noobs, you just have to be good.

Hell, I play PC games too, mainly Left 4 Dead 2, Team Fortress 2, and Garry's Mod, mainly because two of those games are simply better (And have a greater team dynamic) on the PC, and, ya know, one of them is kinda only a PC game.

I put forward for your consideration the proposition it would have been more honorable and imaginative if an achievement badge was issued in order of the unlock by platform. Further that it should have been optional to accept the charity unlock.
Perhaps a white surrender flag, or scarlet "U" in spray paint across the chest of of those who accepted the reward before earning it. So in game people would know you have no honor and could reward you as they saw fit. That might have made the unlock more eventful.

If there was reward unlocks of weapons or camo associated that would be typical. I suggest a scarlet "U" - or cherry red camo as punishment would have possibly more short term power to motivate. A disincentive to fail perhaps calculated by a weighted average of the active playing population? A cherry ghillie suit for clown bosses who play as snipers 50% of the time. Now that is what I am paying money for.

I just got two buddies to buy this game as BlOps got sooo stale. So far their faces have melted with awesomeness and one friend never even KNEW BC2 was out.
