and psp with ds

Problem is there's tons of games slated for the device but it's down the road. I think the vita will explode once it gets that solid title. Also blame capcom for being shitty and not working on monster hunter for the vita instead of that 3ds+Combo stick abortion..
it baffles me how sony fanboys say that "when Monster Hunter will come to Vita it will sell like hotcakes" being completely aware that Monster Hunter on Vita IS NOT a new game, IT ISN'T EVEN AN UPDATED PORT OF PSP GAME. Capcom is simply working on patching Monster Hunter Portable 3 that is on psp via PSN to be playable on Vita. HOW THE FUCK WOULD THAT SELL A HANDHELD TO PEOPLE WHO ALREADY OWN PSP FOR THE EXACT SAME GAME?
I have not purchased a Vita yet, since the main games I want are Gravity, Disgaea 3, and other various RPGs which the system is currently lacking. Having said that, I do not think that the Vita is doomed. All launches start slow. It takes awhile for people to jump onto a new device and until a holiday season passes, I do not think it will be fair to assess PSV. Sony has soooooooooooo much potential for the device. Ultimately, it will all boil down to their decisions and whether they make smart ones. >.>
So far the continue delay of PS1 titles is a huge blow and does not bode well if they continue operating like this.
tales of innocence R is out
hot shots golf is out
there are japanese titles they would like

They should have waited to release Monster Hunter alongside the Vita. End of story.
Sony deserves credit for making an impressive piece of hardware. It's just a shame they don't know what to do with it.
2) Port Monster Hunter to Vita.
3) ???
4) Profit.
Excuse me while I continue not to sound the fucking alarm over this. All the Japanese really seem to play on portable devices these days is Monster Hunter, and the Vita has no MH title. When it gets one, the system well sell, just like the PSP and the 3DS did. In the mean time this has jack shit to do with the US market.
£150 price bracket with a game and I'd at least CONSIDER the damned thing, as it is. No thanks!
The ds did just fine without MH, because it had EVERYTHING else worth playing on a portable (Mass market wise.)
And now the 3ds has all of that *and* monhun.
The thought that MH will solve all of the Vita's problems (in Japan) is ridiculous, as gamers can have the entire world of the "best" portable gaming with one device.
Seriously, I'd just stop here and wake us up when -for some reason- the sales get better.. and I mean much better, and not "better then last week".
@Leonardo Bandeira
Uncharted is a good game, but to me its a game thats over fast that teeters on being a high profile tech demo. Its a take it or leave it game, its hardly worth the $50 Sony is asking for it.. $40 -MAYBE- but not $50.
It could. (it certainly wouldn't hurt)
But it is unrealistic to expect a game we know nothing about to boost sales of an under performing system.
Hype machine for the early adopters and charge as much as possible.
Expect low sales for the first quarter or two quarters from release date.
Lower price of machine by $50 to $70 dollars when time is right
Increase in sales will sky rocket.
While sales are low, this gives the company to lay off many workers and a "valid" excuse to do so, low profit means time to reduce work force and make the workers that remain to work their fucking asses off like never before.
What ELSE did anyone think was gonna happen to the Vita?
They COULD maybe pull it back but I doubt it, Nintendo have this handheld generation in the bag. It's quite hilarious considering the kinds of articles we had on the 3DS not so long ago...
And the launch titles were some of the best for any launch ever, frankly. The problem isn't the lack of good games it's simply the lack of many games at all SINCE the launch.
