I'd be kind of interested in the Canadian bundle. No idea if little deviants will be good, but that memory card sounds just right for someone who never intends to spend a ton in downloadables.
Some people are stressing out way too much over Vita news. We have almost three months until it releases for most of the world.
3G coverage in Canada is fine, 95% of the population has access to it through Rogers. 90% can get 4G as well.
Maybe Sony hasn't been able to sign a deal with a Canadian provider yet, and that's why they aren't pushing the 3G bundle here.

I'm not looking to get a 3G version, but a memory card included would be really nice, even if it's small. That's the only thing that's preventing me from getting the PSV day-one - I want to get a decent sized memory card, so I don't want to get a small one on launch-day to start off with, then purchase a big (and expensive D:) one later. Waste of money IMHO.
I'll just wait the extra week and buy a Wifi model with Uncharted. It's $289.99 with free release date delivery and a game I actually want.

Yeah 3G is pretty prevalent, here in Canada, especially compared to it on AT&T in the US. Just looking at Rogers coverage map, which basically is our AT&T in Canada and it cover way more area in 3G, than AT&T does in America. Hell even its 4G service, covers more area here in Canada, than you guys get 3G in the US!

wifi, please. i can't ever see myself needing 3G, and if i ever do, i can always just tether it to the old iPhone. win/win
Not interested in 3g, my phone has mobile hotspot. As much as I want portable uncharted, I think I'm going to wait for a price drop or at least a free bundled memory card.

Little Deviants is a mini-game collection to show off what the hardware can do. Not sure how much Sony would price something like that. Maybe $20 to $30 retail.
Interested in saving money, not sure if 4GB will be enough or if 3rd party runarounds won't come out by the time I'm seriously interested in owning a Vita.
Figure on the game being $20 at retail, the case being $20, so you're essentially getting a memory stick for $10.

I'd hop right in for a WiFi only version. I guess waiting one extra week won't be too bad. Plus I'd rather spend the extra $$$ on a 32GB card. If those surveys sony sent out recently regarding digital pricing are correct, it'll pay for itself soon enough.

I kind of feel like I should hold off for a potential LTE-enabled Vita. I use 3G for my home internet with Rogers ($70/month for 10GB) and I get terrible reception with where my house is located. But $300 is right in my price range for this device!!

I'll wait a week and get the cheaper version that doesn't stick me with 3G service I'll never use. I don't even know what the hell 3G is, but I know you have to pay for it and I already pay to have wifi in my house so no gracias.

I considered this. To the point that I had my credit card out. I'm getting the 3G model anyway. The only thing that stopped me is that just having Little Deviants to play for a whole week would just drive me insane waiting for a real game. Sounds more like torture than a reward.

I'd have expected a 2gb card, just so they could be really cheap about it (and that's coming from a person who wishes they'd pack in ANY card with all of these, so we can play at least SOME games right out of the box.)

Gamestop Canada has also updated all their listed Vita games as releasing on February 15th. Not sure if this is official or not, but if it is then First Edition buyers would be able to get the entire launch lineup at the same time, whereas everyone else will have to wait a week (but will be able to at least buy games.....that they can't play).

Well, what the hell. It'll be easier to cancel an Amazon pre-order in February if I find a better deal than scramble all over the place trying to get one.

Looking into it a little more, the canadian deal looks a bit better.
The game sells for $40 and the case is a pretty nice hardshell case.
The 4gig card will be handy untill i can get a 32gig cheap.
