Well, I'm being excited by all the Nintendo news today. Making a bunch of announcents on Vita Day. Hmmm. :P
Ive had one for a while,now to go pick up DW Next (which I'm considerably less excited about after your review) and Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus.
WhileI am interested, I don't think I will be really wanting it anytime soon. So, I guess I would be in the " not bothered by the thing at all, and waiting for everybody to get bored talking about it" camp.

Once the issue regarding ability to play my entire PS3 library is absolutely addressed is the day I will buy one.

I'm not buying a Vita until all the psn psp games I own are compatible, and they release a remodel that's smaller, cheaper, and a few iterations in. If said smaller version doesn't support psp games, than I'm not getting one at all. My 3DS and pspgo fulfill all my mobile gaming needs right now, thanks.

I'm just waiting for the memory card prices to take a bit of a dive, I'll buy one as soon as it happens.

Aside from that, a bunch of design decisions have made me less and less interested in it. Plus I already have a DS that I absolutely never play. Mobile game platforms have just never made sense for me. There is never a time when I would play them, and when I do have time to play games, it's when I'm home and I already have a PS3 and PC.

I want one but also want a 32 Gb card because I want to download most of the games so I am not always carrying a whole mess of cards. So once the price comes down or a bundle includes a 32gb or more card I will wait.

Played the demo of Gravity Rush at Gamestop. It was so cool and pretty, and I was really impressed with the feel of the system itself.

I bought a PSP five years ago. I bought my third game for it last Saturday. So, no. I'm not buying a Vita. Mobile gaming doesn't fill a big enough role for me to justify the price.
Seems like a perfectly cromulent system for those who do enjoy mobile gaming regularly though.

I'm not getting a Vita... yet, anyways. The iPad is really all I need for touch-based gaming on the toilet, and I haven't seen anything on the Vita that surpasses what I can do already.
I'm going to pass. With the raise of iOS gaming, it just seems absurd these days to spend $400 on hardware (if I want a decent memory card) and then plop down $40-$50 per game. I'm not sure how this device is going to survive. The whole effort seems like the dying gasp from an industry that isn't quite ready to move on to the new paradigm.
No interest whatsoever. The endless nickel and diming and backpedaling on promised features killed it for me.
I bought the 3DS on launch day and it's been sitting on the dock collecting dust for months now, so I'm not too interested. I'm just going to wait 'till there's a decent library of games and the price has dropped a bit.
I just finished playing a few wipeout tracks, a bit of Super Stardust Delta, and I'm quite happy with it. If Sony's able to maintain a steady stream of new releases, I don't think I'll be putting it down any time soon. And if/when they allow us to play PSOne titles... I'll be a very happy bunny.
Goodness no. The price is not right between the system and memory card, and I'm waiting to see how the software line up shapes up in the longer term. That and I smell a price cut before the end of 2012.

Fifa - Very good, if you like kickball (I don't really) but was bundled
Reality Fighters - Really good, specially for my zero skilled fighter requirements. Actually feels plenty deep enough for me.
Table Football - Augmented reality Sobutteo (*sp) - good for showing off the AR.
Cliff Diving - Funny. Daft. But free.
Fireworks - Very nice. Simple but pleasing.
- Also almost all PSP games seem to work, everything i've tried has. Even those not in "the list" - I've got Persona, Monster Hunter, Gods Eater, Gran Turismo, UFC2010 and No heroes allowed on there at the mo.
Only problem I've had so far is Gran Turismo's save won't open on the Vita.

I picked one up because "Why not" and because I write some reviews for another site. The only launch game I was really excited about was Dynasty Warriors NEXT, but Reality Fighters is surprisingly fun!
