The PlayStation Vita officially launches across North America today. Those willing to pay extra have had the system for a week, but the slightly more money conscious are only just now getting their hands on it. Are you among them?
We want to know how many of you are picking up Sony's latest portable system. Have you had it pre-ordered and find yourself counting down the work hours until you can pick it up? Were you among those who threw down the extra cash to get it early, and if so, don't you feel like you could have spent that cash on something better? Are you interested in a Vita, but waiting for a price drop or secondhand system?
If you're getting one, what games are you purchasing alongside it?
Or ... are you not bothered by the thing at all, and waiting for everybody to get bored talking about?

I bought a psp when it first came out and never really started enjoying the system until the Go came out.

Aside from that, a bunch of design decisions have made me less and less interested in it. Plus I already have a DS that I absolutely never play. Mobile game platforms have just never made sense for me. There is never a time when I would play them, and when I do have time to play games, it's when I'm home and I already have a PS3 and PC.
Played the demo of Gravity Rush at Gamestop. It was so cool and pretty, and I was really impressed with the feel of the system itself.
Seems like a perfectly cromulent system for those who do enjoy mobile gaming regularly though.
Uncharted - Excellent
Motorstorm RC - Excellent
Fifa - Very good, if you like kickball (I don't really) but was bundled
Reality Fighters - Really good, specially for my zero skilled fighter requirements. Actually feels plenty deep enough for me.
Table Football - Augmented reality Sobutteo (*sp) - good for showing off the AR.
Cliff Diving - Funny. Daft. But free.
Fireworks - Very nice. Simple but pleasing.
- Also almost all PSP games seem to work, everything i've tried has. Even those not in "the list" - I've got Persona, Monster Hunter, Gods Eater, Gran Turismo, UFC2010 and No heroes allowed on there at the mo.
Only problem I've had so far is Gran Turismo's save won't open on the Vita.
got demos for a few things and as a result my WANT list is now...
Everybody's Golf & Rayman - I REALLY want both of these now, but money, and Rayman is twice as much as I'd like to play.
24 hours after opening the box, my 16gb card has 4gb left on it! lol.
may need to import a 32gb, wish they would just sell them over here!!!
Dungeon Hunter demo sucked balls.
