Prototype to appear on HBO's Entourage photo

You know how Prototype is blatantly better than inFAMOUS? It's on HBO this Sunday! Evil publisher Activision is boasting that the hit television show Entourage will feature some sort of cameo from everybody's favorite shapeshifting sandbox game. This is proof that HBO are biased Microsoft fanboys (because obviously Prototype wasn't multiplatform) and prefer the Xbox 360 to the PS3 which had inFAMOUS on it. That's how these fanboy accusations work, right?

Also they are fat and bad journalists.

Anyway, some show I've never seen is featuring a game I thought was quite fun. I am never going to watch this show, but if you're already hooked on it like Samit is, then you'll get to enjoy some of them thar new-fangled vidjagaymes in your TV stories. Hooray!

Im sorry but prototype was a horrible game. I used to be a gamer who would only care about gameplay and fly by the story. But after getting into RPGS and such i cant play a game that has such a bad story and prototype was one of those games.

Also Imfamous is my GOTY so far so HA!

You couldn't pay me to watch that show. From what I've heard its a bunch of hollywood douche bags trying to get one of their movie star friends more famous each episode. Yea I think I'll pass on that.

I'd care, but Infamous is way better than Prototype. Seriously. Dtoid's review and comparison of the two is a joke.

Isn't Entourage some kind of model show or something? I don't fucking know. All I know is I didn't think it was the kind of show to feature a game, especially one like Prototype.

The story and acting was so bad in Prototype that it was actively distracting. Understand this. I could not focus on or enjoy jumping from the top of a 20 story building to crush a tank full of army guys, only to pick up that husk of tank and throw it into a busy pedestrian cross walk because of how awful the story was. I would be playing the game then just be hit with "wait, is sister is a investigative reporter who just happens to be working on the same case? Really? Wait, did he really just say 'guess I have to kill these guys too' in a flat monotone? Oh my god."

entourage is good shit.... just a funny show to watch with some good plot lying underneath; im pretty sure prototype will get as much airtime as fight night 3 did in the earlier seasons though... that show isnt a whore to that much media as it is to locales in Hollywood....

"Entourage revolves around Vincent Chase (Adrian Grenier), a young, up-and-coming actor who eventually becomes an A-list star. His experiences are loosely based on those of Mark Wahlberg, who is also executive producer on the show.[7][8] His best friend and manager is Eric Murphy (Kevin Connolly).[9] "E", as his friends call him, is based on Wahlberg's friend and executive producer Eric Weinstein.[6] He's also been reported to be inspired by Stephen Levinson, Wahlberg's manager.[4]"

I own both games. Before the release of those games, I was leaning on Prototype because it looks like it got more potential. But after I played both games, it's clear that iNFAMOUS is the better one. I got alot of issues for Prototype. And I didn't mind playing it again.

I have 100% trophy score in Infamous and I can honestly say [Prototype] was just alot more fun. Infamous has vastly better sound but you take damage like a mf, alot of objects have magnets in them(apparantly), the cover system stinks... and why are homeless guys PERFECT SHOTS??!! Alot of homeless guys I've een can't even walk straight, but they can shoot me well outside the range of my lightning..? REALLY???

Really must be a slow news day. What the fuck Jim? How is THIS news?

Essentially you've said this:

A video game will appear this sunday night in an HBO series.

And instantly, I thought this:

At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

No accident. I stand by my decision to like Prototype. Sure, the storyline isn't anything special, but the game is fun and looks great. Like Crackdown meets Left4Dead. I've yet to play inFAMOUS so I don't have an opinion there.

True Blood on HBO had a woman playing Dead Space Extraction the other week fyi. But she was flailing all around like it was Wii Tennis or something and, well... that's a point and shoot game. (She was basically demon-possessed though)

Check this out: I am a fan of the show Entourage, and from what I have played of both, I enjoyed Prototype AND inFamous. Also, I love BOTH the Xbox 360 AND the PS3!!! I don't know what it is about me, although my mom did say I was always different, but somehow, somewhere in this crazy universe of ours, I was actually born with this ability to like mutliple things that, although they may be in direct competition with one another, I am able to see past their differences and appreciate both of them, regardless if I can only afford one or both. It's a crazy phenomenon I know...I'm half expecting the governemnt to break into my room and cut me up for research or something...

Anyway...in my own, single, personal opinion, which may very well differ from your, I love the show Entourage and look forward to seeing this cameo, evin if it is probably just Turtle playing the 360 on Vince's couch like he has all the other 360 titles that have so far gone by unannounced.
