Prototype 2's Supersoldiers sound delightful photo

Making a supersoldier is tricky, just look at all the failed attempts to make another Captain America. In Prototype 2, Sgt. James Heller will be facing a whole army of them, so color me impressed. Using a new strain of the Blacklight Virus, these Supersoldiers have increased strength, speed, size and the ability to do Hulk-like leaps. Intimidating stuff. On top of that, they are like genetic bloodhounds, able to spot anyone with the Blacklight virus, including Sgt. Heller.

Although I enjoyed the original Prototype for the absurd superpowers and explosive action, I found the enemies to be generally rather boring. Here's hoping these Supersoldiers are a bit more interesting.

But there were and are so many successes as well for that Captain America comparison.
Just saying.

story sucked, annoying unlikeable characters, shitty graphics, boring repetitive missions, awful bosses, but somehow, i still managed to have some fun.

This game seems like it makes a massive improvement over the first. Everything looks overhauled, from the graphics to the mission variety. The only thing that I still don't like is the HUD and targeting system.

Umm, possibly because it was an enjoyable game? I'm glad it cut it's way through your cynicism , as it was indeed a good game. As for me, I rather enjoyed playing an awful, unrelatable character. Not every "hero" has to be an everyday joe that we can all relate to. Sometimes it's nice to break entirely from the archetypes of conventional society, and just play as an insane prick hellbent on revenge on absolute everything. On the other hand, I guess not everybody enjoys playing the bad guy.

Weren’t they in the first game? And weren’t they a giant pain in the arse?

I really don’t to be that guy, but is a new enemy type (that isn’t even really new) worth writing a story about? I mean, it’s not like there’s other news on a Saturday and I’m not really bothered but...

Yes, they were in the first game. Yes, they were annoying as hell.

They're the guys that runned on you just to do a supplex and don't receive any knocback from your massive punches. Damn horrible enemies.

There were Supersoldiers in the first game, they weren't these guys. As I already wrote in the in the post, these guys were created with a new strain of the virus. Information about a new enemy and some concept art might interest a few fans of the original game who are looking forward to the sequel.
The best way to avoid being "that guy" is by not being "that guy".
