If a 6-year-old girl can win in Wii Boxing by pumping her arms like a milk maid on a coke binge, then you know you've made a game that doesn't work as intended. But hey, at least the girl walked away with a bit of pride. I suspect the dude that lost went to the garage after the loss, turned on the car, and went to sleep ... for a long time.

Wii boxing is the most slept on game in the package. It's no Fight Night, but it is much much deeper than most people give it credit for.

he's getting his ass kicked because he only used high guard and the girl did mostly body shots. If he blocked low he would've been okay, unless he let her win.

it's not a little girl

(some days ago I had a nightmare involving one of those, seriously)

Yeah, that guy sucks as Wii boxing. You don't just stand there throwing a jab every now and again. Plus he was being a total douche b/c he was losing.

It looks like he let her win and she constantly is hitting him in the nuts. Hit the weak spot for massive damage!

yes... he let her win.. its those little things for a kid... that makes it whether they turn into a slut on the corner who blames her parents for everything including the coke habit she just picked up because tyrone didnt have cash this time... or if she turns into a pretty pretty princess..

I gotta go with the "bob and weave" on this one. The Wii is made so ANYONE can play and ANYONE can win.

My parents beat my wife and I in bowling...

...badly.

So, yeah, it can happen.

The IBM Broadway processor production is well underway?

Shut up.

What the hell is that guy doing you don't jab with the same hand twice like that. He's going so easy on the girl.

I took my Wii to my family get together last night and someone was doing that exact thing. I kicked the shit out of them.

I thought Boxing was the worst game of them all but if you spend a little while practicing you get the hang of it and it becomes a hell of a lot of fun. Sure you can win by doing that against people without skill too. Like I got my shit ruined at bowling by my Aunt who couldn't do it properly but kept getting strikes anyway.

Just sit down and try and give it another chance. It's still flawed of course but it's not as terrible as you make out.

It goes the same way in a lot of fighting games.

If you don't actually know what you're doing, but try to do what makes sense, you'll usually lose to button mashers.
