Project Offset has been in "does it even exist?" territory for far too long, as far as I'm concerned. There's been a steady stream of tech demonstrations for years now, so yeah, it likely exists in some playable form. But will it ever be released? God, I hope so.
In today's video, we get to see some lovely particle and destruction effects. Cool stuff, I'll admit it -- however, I can only retain so much enthusiasm for a terrific-looking game when we're never shown any solid gameplay footage. At least it's in-engine.
Jordan Devore is Destructoid's PC gaming manager and founding ginger editor. He is said to be easy to love but difficult to know. When Samit inquired about his curious bio photo Jordan simply replied: "bitches love sandcastles" ... yet, there is no sandcastle in that photo. We may never truly understand his ways.

I remember reading about this game and being excited for it back before the 360 and PS3 even came out... something tells me this game is never going to be released. It sounded really cool though. Wasn't it supposed to be a FPS fantasy game where you used swords and crossbows and stuff like that?
Hrm. Perhaps it's just my lack of knowledge about this; but from the screencap, I almost expected to see the giant animated in some cool, faux stop-motion style. Definitely has somewhat of a Harryhausen look. :)

I went through a "phase" of checking the Project Offset website religiously at least once a week ... for about 2+ years! I gave up when it was announced they were sold and posting help wanted ads. The concept of the game still has me excited and I really want this to happen ... it's my DN:F.
