Project Gotham Racing 4 demo done, coming soon photo

During a press event ta their offices in Liverpool, Bizarre Creation revealed that a demo for Project Gotham Racing 4 was complete and ready to go. Unfortunately, the demo is currently stuck in the dreaded "certification process," and as Bizarre put it "just waiting for a slot."

The demo seems pretty fat, with Nurburgring and a few Arcade mode chapters playable. No word on what cars (or motorcycles!) will be playable, but we should find out when the demo hits on or before the game's October 12 release.

In the meantime, feel free to peruse Destructoid's previous Project Gotham Racing 4 coverage, including trailers, hands-ons, and other verbal drooling.

Can you die on the bike? Human damage modeling? The cars break, why not the people?

I'm still not sure about this game. I mean, I have Forza 2. Download content is coming soon and also Pro Street looks pretty cool from what I've seen. It's not a dumbed down Most Wanted like Carbon was. I hope it turns out cool, though. These guys have never made a PGR I don't like and they made Geometry Wars for chrissake.

The game is gold too, they also posted a full car list at their site:

@Professor Pew

Huh. That car list actually looks good. Well, from that they had on PGR 3, this looks great. I can't wait to see the game running to make my final decision.

But yeah. I give it a "meh" in terms of hype level. I was thinking of keeping my Forza for simulation needs and Pro Street for arcade crazyness.

Yeah it's getting better, I'm actually impressed at the line up they've added

However it's not enough for me to support racing motorcycles and cars... it's GTA allll over again

I'm excited for the weather system. I think it might be awesome, and the graphics have been tightened up
