Project Awakened on hold, backers receiving refunds

May 05 // Hamza CTZ Aziz    @CTZ

Alternative funding options have been found

Project Awakened failed to meet its Kickstarter goal, but that didn't stop the team from pursuing their dreams and opening up donations via PayPal or credit cards. Well now all those folks that continued to support the project will be receiving refunds as the game has been put on hold according to this Facebook posting.

"Everyone who pledged money will be receiving a full refund. Rest assured, our goal is to one day complete this game that we are all very passionate about. There have been some alternative funding options that have recently been presented to us, so please continue to keep an eye out on our Facebook page for future updates."

Not totally bad news, as it looks like the team may have found a studio that wants to take the game on. Maybe!
