DeNA is continuing their partnership with Hasbro by releasing two new titles: G.I. Joe Battleground and Dungeons & Dragons Arena of War. G.I. Joe I expect will be much like the Transformers game where you collect and bat...

A complaint against Electronic Arts has been upheld by the UK's Advertising Standard Authority concerning marketing for its latest mobile free-to-play version of Dungeon Keeper. The complaint was made in regards to an email c...

Dungeon Hearts is a match-3 game, yet that observation didn't solidify until I sat down to write this review. From music to mechanics, Dungeon Hearts is so ingrained in traditional Japanese role-playing games (think Final Fan...

Trendy Entertainment has already bestowed Dungeon Defenders II upon its most invested fans. In fact, they've had it for more than a month now. "Invested" is the only way to describe those people -- both financially and m...

Just when you thought your wallet was safe from Steam sales, something like this bundle drops. In it we see seven games, each using the Unreal engine, for just twenty bucks. These aren't just any Unreal engine games either; t...

3D Realms is back, and that can only mean one thing -- Duke Nukem. To celebrate the 20th anniversary of Duke Nukem II, 3D Realms and Interceptor Entertainment have announced a upgraded re-release of the '90s game for iOS dev...

While fans of the Disney Afternoon have been anxiously awaiting the release of DuckTales Remastered, Disney had tossed a separate DuckTales-branded game onto iOS devices. It is called DuckTales: Scrooge's Loot, and it is a th...

DuckTales Remastered was released in 2013, and despite a few nagging issues, it was a fantastic platformer. Now thanks to WayForward you can play it on iOS and Android for $9.99, and it's actually not half bad. The key is to...

The other day I ran across a newly released shooter for iOS and Android called Dual. The whole gimmick is that it uses two devices to function, with a screen that spans between them. By forming a tenuous Voltron-esque link you can play two modes, versus and co-op. Although it is a free download, thankfully, only one person needs to buy the premium version ($1.99) to play the latter mode.

It's not hard to be mesmerized by Dropchord's art style. It's equal parts psychedelic and vibrant, and with the combination of an arrangement of electronic music, there's a lot of room for potential here -- especially when Double Fine is involved. But with Dropchord, a focus on style is exactly what you're getting, with a distinct lack of gameplay variety to back it up.

Ubisoft is bringing back the classic series Driver as a speedboat racing game for mobile devices in April. I'm not quite sure how the series developed from a game about a getaway driver to racing speedboats, but they can't just let an IP die a peaceful death -- it has to buried alive.

Codemasters has stealthily released an endless racer for the App Store. It's called Drive: USA, and it's only available through the Singapore App Store at the moment. It sure looks like a racing game, eh? I do find it a little funny that after so many endless runners, this is the first time I'm seeing one with cars. I mean, it looks ... alright. Eh, it's free, don't complain.

Space. I love space games, and we can always use more of them. Drifter: A Space Trading Game looks like it's going to fill that little place in my heart for games like Elite. Drifter is a random- and procedura...

Looks like there's another Senran Kagura game on the horizon, but before you get too excited, it's a crossover with Toast's Drawgirls and Senran Kagura: New Wave. Drawgirls is a picture discovery game where it's your jo...

Here's another excuse to draw dick pictures on your mobile device and send them to your friends. It's Draw Something 2, the follow-up to the Pictonary-like social game that captured our imaginations for exactly 1.5 weeks last...

I must admit: I still play Draw Something, albeit only with the few loyal friends that I have left (thanks Chad!). Like millions of others, most of the people on my friends list flocked to basically anything else, avoiding th...

RuPaul has taken just about every form of media by storm. Film, music, talk shows, reality shows, live performances, comedy, drama: You name it, Ru's tried it. Now she can also scratch game development off the list as well. ...

Fantasy fans with Androids and iPhones have a lot to look forward to this year, courtesy of Ngmoco. Just this past GDC, we had the opportunity to look at two promising fantasy RPGs, Skyfall and DragonCraft. Whereas the former...

Dragon's Dogma Quest was originally announced as a Vita game. Perhaps it isn't surprising that the free-to-play, 2D, online-only RPG ended up coming to iOS (in Japan) much sooner. Still, a Vita version is still in the works....

You may not know this about me, but Slimes are one of my favorite things in the wide world of gaming. I've got this adorable little pair of earbuds, a plush Slime, a keychain, and even the PlayStation controller, but I need m...

Square Enix keeps churning out Dragon Quest games at a decent rate, and now, you can add an iOS and Android game to that mix, by the name of Dragon Quest Monsters. A teaser site has been created, but it doesn't offer much outside of a logo and some old school sound effects. The site merely lists it as an "RPG," so right now, details are pretty scarce. Dragon Quest [Square Enix]

No, this is not someone trying to make a quick buck with some off brand Nontendo 3DS. This is Square Enix putting Dragon Quest IV up on the (fertile testing ground that is New Zealand) Apple Store and misspelling it...

The original Dragon Quest is now available on iOS and Android devices for $2.99 / £1.99 / €2.69. The classic NES role-playing game was first released in Japan by Enix in 1986, and was localized for North Ameri...

Last week's video was a little late thanks to PAX East, and I said I'd make it up to you. This week, instead of seven haikus we have ten, and for good reason. In this series, we normally take a look at the stories that gathe...
