Critter Crunch

10-06-2009

When was the last time you barfed a rainbow? Has it been too long? Have you never barfed a rainbow? If you haven't, you should, and now you can without spending too much, because Critter Crunch is listed on PlayStation Networ...

CSI: Crime Scene Investigator - Fatal Conspiracy

12-10-2009

Last year’s CSI: Deadly Intent was a bit of an ugly duckling, and something many of us would easily scoff at if we saw it in a store. Yet even though it was just a CSI version of Ace Attorney with a crime lab -- witho...

[Update: Borderlands 2: Game of the Year Edition has sold out at this price. The other deals still appear to be available.] It was only a couple of days ago that the Borderlands 2: Game of the Year Edition launched in North A...

Crysis 2

03-22-2011

Sequel time!  For the originals, here's Crysis and Portal. I've learned my lesson.  Crysis joins the list of franchises I'll never touch again.  That's not to say Crysis 2 was a bad game.  Just a bad all ...

Clash of Heroes

04-14-2011

I'm unsure how sales for the original DS version of Might & Magic: Clash of Heroes were, but I'd be willing to wager they weren't nearly as high as they should have been. Capybara Games has taken that excellent handheld p...

Captain America: Super Soldier

07-19-2011

Both Thor: God of Thunder & Captain America: Super Soldier were announced as new 3DS titles by Sega today. Both games were released on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii, and Nintendo DS earlier this year, and now the...

Call of Juarez: The Cartel

07-25-2011

Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood wasn't a great videogame by any stretch of the imagination, but it had a certain charm to it, and some terrific ideas. The series seems to be all about these really clever design choices that suffer from a lack of follow-through, be it through lack of time, skill, budget or all three.  Call of Juarez: The Cartel is exactly like that. But worse. Far worse.

Crazy Machines Elements

10-20-2011

Everybody loves Rube Goldberg machines.  It's a fact of life.  From breakfast in Pee Wee's Big Adventure to OK Go's "This Too Shall Pass," the art of building a contraption to perform a simple task through a series ...

Carnival Island

11-18-2011

A year removed from the PlayStation Move's launch, one should expect that tech demos and minigame compilations would be out of the door to make way for the kind of genuinely rich experiences that were promised.  Carnival Island is a compilation of minigames that demonstrate the technology of the PlayStation Move.  Oh well. Same time next year?

Closure

04-03-2012

There's one deal on PlayStation Plus this week that just seems too good to pass up. Starting tomorrow, Critter Crunch will be available for only $1.40. At that price there's almost no excuse not to be regurgitating color...

Capcom Arcade Cabinet

02-19-2013

Back when we first reviewed Capcom Arcade Cabinet we told you it would probably be best to just buy all the titles at once rather than dealing with the staggered releases of game packs. That time is now. You'll get all 15 gam...

Call of Duty: Black Ops II

07-03-2013

The Wii U often gets the shaft in terms of DLC. It either gets it late, not at all, or is left completely in the wind as to what the status is. Nearly every major publisher has pulled one of these moves, most notably Activisi...

Cloudberry Kingdom

08-05-2013

What started out as a Kickstarter project with a meager $20,000 funding goal has been picked up by Ubisoft, of all publishers, and brought to the usual digital platforms. At first glance, Cloudberry Kingdom may not be much to...

CounterSpy

08-20-2014

CounterSpy's stylized Cold War re-imagining is on point. It looks good, with its spindly spy running, rolling, and leaping like a jumping spider. It sounds good, with its jazzy soundtrack that reminds of James Bond.  Unfortunately, the rest of it feels half-baked.
