The Killzone franchise has earned itself a place as one of gaming's more turbulent properties. All sorts of self-perpetuating controversies seem to spring up in its wake, often providing a disservice to the games themselves. ...

Kingdom Hearts fans are a long-suffering bunch. After feasting on the highly polished Kingdom Hearts II, they have had to make due with half-hearted gestures intended to tide them over until something significant could be pro...

When Kirby's Epic Yarn was announced, many people thought Nintendo was stringing us along, that the game would be poorly stitched together or otherwise patchy. A 2D platformer with a cute gimmick runs the risk of being threadbare, but it would appear that developer Good Feel has it all sewn up. You might worry that the bad yarn puns are a bit woolly, but I refuse to change my material.

Reviewing a game that you've already played in some other form is usually pretty easy. And to be honest, it's rarely ever quite as good the second time around. These days, with everything being ported and translated, the chan...

More than any other videogame series, Sierra’s classic King’s Quest may be the one I hold most near and dear to my heart. Released during the golden age of adventure games (1984-1994), the seven main entries in th...

What's worse than an escort mission in a videogame? A videogame that is nothing but escort missions.  This is Knights Contract. A game in which your health meter is determined by a meandering, mentally subnormal woman wi...

Pay no attention to the silly kids that jumped around on the stage at Microsoft's E3 press conference. They might have left a bad taste in your mouth. That was definitely the case for me. The on-stage presentation for Kinect ...

If you were a bit put off by how different Kirby's Epic Yarn was from the rest of the series, I think you're going to be happy with Kirby Wii (official title pending). The game takes the classic Kirby formula and adds four-p...

At Nintendo's developer roundtable this evening, Ubisoft announced a new game for Wii U by the name of Killer Freaks From Outer Space, currently scheduled for 2012. I know what you're thinking based on the name, but it actual...

Just about everything has been ported to iOS. The newest game to get the iPhone treatment is SNK's King of Fighters, now called King of Fighters-i.  As you'd expect, this is KoF with touchscreen virtual controls. These c...

When you play a certain videogame series or genre, it is sometimes expected that you will encounter some form of memorable videogame moment. If you are playing a Metal Gear Solid game, for instance, you know one of the boss b...

Finally, that little pink puffy character with the suction power of a Dyson will have his first adventure for the Wii in the style of the old school games. Sure, there was Kirby's Epic Yarn, but Kirby Wii (working title) is all about the consuming and gaining of new powers. I had the chance to to check out a few of the levels the other day and from what I played, Kirby Wii is looking really good.

The above video gives you a glimpse at Kyuuin a Japanese PlayStation 1 game that is getting a release next week on the PlayStation Network. The story seems to involve some kids saving a mythical book-world from evil with the...

Kyuiin sucks. It sucks because it's about a boy that flies on the back of a canister-style vacuum cleaner. Well, I take that back; it's not really about a boy that flies on the back of a canister-style vacuum cleaner. It's ab...

Ikaruga fans might be interested in this rather unashamed clone, Kyotokei. While it has a differing horizontal perspective and a more fantastical aesthetic, the games core mechanics are clearly derived from the Treasure Co. c...

King's Bounty: Legions, like many social networking games, has by and large had little relevant exposure to the "hardcore" gaming community. It should come as no surprise that many of us who have grown up alongside the videog...

What happens when you combine the random puzzling fun of Peggle with the heady delights of child abuse? You get Kickin Mama, a new iOS game from the folks responsible for Swarm. The Swarmites are back, and this time they've b...

A new Bigpoint browser-based free-to-play MMO called Kultan: The World Beyond has entered open beta today. I'm not much of a F2P MMO (or any MMO) guy after the World of Warcraft closed beta ruined plenty of my exams back in ...

I absolutely adored Kirby's Epic Yarn, but there's something very special about seeing Kirby going back to his classic style in a game that goes back to the series' roots. It also helps that Kirby's Return to Dreamland looks...

Kirby's Epic Yarn was a triumph, but there's no denying that Kirby's true home is on a handheld platform. It's where he debuted and it's where he's had his biggest adventures. Kirby Mass Attack brings Kirby home, both in term...

King Arthur: The Roleplaying Wargame was a really fun and interesting hybrid real-time strategy/turn-based strategy/role-playing game. It pulled a lot of good elements from these genres and it felt unique and it really stoo...

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH Kirby's Return to Dreamland cake pops! They're so cute!  Far too cute to eat, right?  I mean, I should freeze these forever and crawl into the freezer every night to hang out...
