Tales of the Abyss is probably going to be the first RPG that I'll be all up in on my Nintendo 3DS. There's other good offerings for other genres on the horizon, but I know there isn't anything close to this game when it comes to something I can really dig into and get lost in. 

As you'll see from these new gameplay videos (2!) and screenshots from gamescom, Abyss is looking really great on the 3DS. The screenshots are really small, but it's still clear to see that this game has never looked better. Watching the battle in the above video has me more excited about my 3DS than I've ever been before. Be sure to check out the other gameplay video, found after the jump.
