XSEED has confirmed that customers who pick up first run copies of their upcoming Nintendo DS RPG Solatobo: Red the Hunter will be getting a 24-track soundtrack disc along with their purchase. They also note that this is the full-length CD that was also released in Japan, so you're not getting a dumbed down 'mini soundtrack' this time around. The game's music is composed by Chikayo Fukuda who has worked extensively on the .hack and Naruto game franchises. The game ships in September, so be sure to pre-order if you want to secure a copy of your own.
In their press release XSEED also details some of the environments and characters featured in the game. While I can't say the whole furry vibe really resonates with me, I've been continually impressed by how much detail has gone into the game world of Solatorobo. The above pictured city of Airdele immediately brings to mind memories of Chrono Trigger.
Are you looking forward to Solatorobo: Red the Hunter next month, and does the inclusion of a soundtrack disc make all that much difference when it comes to your game-purchasing habits?
