Q-Games is pimping its online battle mode in PixelJunk Shooter 2 hard this week with a free demo for the game, now available on PSN. If you haven't played it yet, go and get it, because it's worth your time.

If you already have PixelJunk Shooter 2 (high five!), you're also getting a treat. Starting today, Q-Games is unlocking a "hidden" stage for the game's online battles. Best part is that it's free, so you can spend money on beer and tacos this weekend instead.

Q-Games' Dylan Cuthbert is also offering up some online battle tips on the PlayStation Blog. But don't go and read it, because I'm not all that good to begin with, and I don't need any more competition.
