Last week, Iron Galaxy Studios said that for a limited time, it would funnel up to $100,000 in revenue generated by digital sales of Killer Instinct into the game's tournament scene. Players had two weeks to reach that cap bu...

Killer Instinct continues to improve with every passing month, and now, you'll be able to contribute to a community prize pot by way of DLC. For $20 you can buy the Shadow Jago pack, which comes with the character, as we...

Killer Instinct’s second season is well underway, bringing us some pretty cool characters like Aganos the Golem and Hisako, the most god damn disturbing character from any fighting game ever. She jumps inside of you an...

Iron Galaxy Studios has done a great job with Killer Instinct's Season 2 characters. All of them are incredibly well animated and fit the game perfectly. Cinder is looking pretty hot right now (ha), after his death in the or...

Hisako is a spooky ghost lady ripped straight from Japanese horror films with long black hair and creepy crawling intact, certainly a cool addition to Killer Instinct for Season 2. Also revealed in the trailer is t...

Double Helix and Iron Galaxy have done a great job at turning Killer Instinct into a serviceable fighting game over the past year and a half. The newest character to join the fray is Hisako, which basically looks like t...

From a cosmetic perspective, I'm digging this new round of Killer Instinct characters. While the trailer is focused on next week's Aganos, a golem who looks more like a boss than a combatant, there's also a tease at the end for a character everyone seems to be calling "Ghost Girl." I hope that name sticks. Videogames can and should be weird like that sometimes.

[Update: Now we have a picture of the leg -- really cool shadow effects. Remember this sort of old school style teasing in magazines?] A new character is coming to Killer Instinct, and developer Iron Galaxy is hinti...

Although we had confirmation of Riptor's existence in Killer Instinct already, now we have a better look at her moveset and backstory. Evidently she was created as a result of a competing project with Fulgore and Cinder...

Another classic combatant returns. Killer Instinct will get Riptor this week, as announced by the developers. Early access members are set to get her today, while the rest of the public will get her on December 17. The n...

Kan-Ra seems about as menacing as an Saturday morning cartoon villain, but that's why I like him. The mummy sorcerer is next in line for Season 2 of Killer Instinct. He'll be available first for Ultra Edition ($39.99) player...

Although it had a few issues in terms of content, Killer Instinct on Xbox One was actually a good game at launch. Since then, I've taken a look at both Spinal and Fulgore, and found them to be a great addition to the alr...

Killer Instinct is still chugging, and I still go back to it occasionally to play with friends. It's really held up, and Season 2 looks to bring more characters in along for the ride. In addition to the confirmed TJ Combo and...

Iron Galaxy is picking up Killer Instinct where Double Helix left off with a second season of content and as announced today at EVO 2014, one of the upcoming characters will be Maya. She's returning to the series with her tru...

Double Helix's first season of Killer Instinct is over, and here to close it all out is Fulgore, which makes eight total characters in the mix. While only two more fighters have come post-launch, they make a huge difference in terms of the meta-game, and help change things up considerably. Spinal was a nice addition for sure, but Fulgore ups the stakes considerably.

When I think "Killer Instinct," I think "Fulgore." How could I not, given that iconic, badass black Super Nintendo cartridge featuring the cyborg front and center? It's nice, then, to finally see him added to the game today a...

Killer Instinct is still alive and well with new content, and following the addition of Spinal, Fulgore is on the way for an early April release. He's pretty much done as well based on the video above, which gives you a...
