Kentucky Route Zero is half off (and you should buy it)

One of my favorite games from last year
Sep 24

Kentucky Route Zero fought hard in a number of categories in our 2013 game of the year awards despite only the first two of five episodes having been released. It is very good. Even if Act IV isn't out yet. You can get the season pass (Acts I-III now, IV and V whenever they come out) on Steam for $12.50 at the moment, half of the usual $25 asking price. Well worth it.

Don't panic, Act III of Kentucky Route Zero is on the way

Part of the drawback with games released in an episodic fashion is that you're always clamoring for the next installment. Whether it's The Wolf Among Us or The Dream Machine, some of my favorite recent episodic titles have be...

If I'm being honest, I want the Kentucky Route Zero developers, Cardboard Computer, to take as much time as they need perfecting each and every episode of the game. But if I'm being serious, I want them all right fr...

Review: Kentucky Route Zero

Everything's weirder in Kentucky
Jan 29

If I described Kentucky Route Zero as an episodic point-and-click, I'd be selling it short. Sure, it's episodic -- and, yeah, you move your mouse to point and click, but this game is something else. Something bigger. Somethin...
