This latest installment of the series -- yes, it's a series and has been for years -- is coming to the 3DS. Something tells me it won't be headed to the States.

This is exactly the kind of game I would expect to accidentally walk in on Destructoid founder Niero playing. He would have a big grin on his face, we'd make eye contact for far too long, and then I'd back away slowly, never to speak of the moment again.
