This new TGS Deep Down Japanese trailer is in English

I know a lot of people have no faith in Capcom these days, but Deep Down looks interesting to me every time I see it. It doesn't look quite as good as a Souls game mechanically, but I'll take everything I can get i...

New Deep Down footage, beta delayed until 2015

Deep Down, Capcom's free-to-play PS4 action game, was meant to get a beta in Japan this summer, but producer Kazunori Sugiura has announced the beta test will be delayed until 2015. Localization details have yet to come...

Ah, there's our Deep Down E3 2014 trailer

There was no mention of Deep Down during the free-to-play segment of Sony's E3 press conference, much to our concern. The game is still alive and well, however -- just not here in the West. Capcom hasn't made any announcemen...

Deep Down is getting a Japanese beta this summer

Two new screens for Deep Down are out in the wild, compliments of producer Kazunori Sugiura's Twitter account. But Sugiura also had a few updates for the game, noting that Capcom is currently being "intensively developed...

This Deep Down trailer has plenty of action

Deep Down is coming along nicely, and now you can get a better look at some of the more terrifying creatures in the game. That includes a Mimic treasure chest monster, giant abominations, and tiny gross slug monsters. Everything is looking great so far, and as a Souls fan, I can't wait to give it a try at some point. Hopefully it'll be localized sometime this year.

Deep Down will not have playable female characters

Capcom's Deep Down has been on many gamer's radar since it was first announced back at the system's unveiling. As Sony's latest console edges closer and closer to its Japanese this month, so does new information regarding the...

Tighten up those graphics: Deep Down delayed in Japan

You know, I keep forgetting that Deep Down technically hasn't been announced for release outside of Japan. It's surely coming, though, and besides its reliance on a free-to-play model (I'd rather just pay up front, thanks) I'...

Deep Down trademarked for North America and Europe

I don't think anyone ever doubted that Capcom's online PS4 RPG Deep Down would be coming to the west. You didn't, did you?  It was never officially announced, but they showed it at the PS4's US debut, showed it to wester...

This Deep Down Prologue trailer is pretty neat

It's been awhile since we've heard anything about Capcom's online next-gen game Deep Down. I played their Tokyo Game Show demo, but that demo was so short that it was hard to form an opinion on the game. All I can tell you s...

Deep Down can theoretically produce infinite dungeons

I still can't grasp the concept of Capcom making a free-to-play dungeon crawler in the same vein as Demon's/Dark Souls, but here we are with Deep Down, which is currently in development for the PS4. Things seem to be going we...

Deep Down is a free-to-play title

Capcom's upcoming next gen title Deep Down is a free-to-play title. Yeeeeeeep. Announced today at Tokyo Game Show, this PS4 game will see a public beta in February in Japan. Sony boss Shuhei Yoshida confirmed this on Twitter, and now that tweet is bouncing around the universe, falling on confused ears. That...that is... Wow. But from what I saw this week I'll likely pay. Maybe.

I can't stop watching this Deep Down trailer

Deep Down is unquestionably my most-wanted next-gen title. It's not even close. This Tokyo Game Show trailer shows what Steven covered earlier today: future New York City, stabbing freaks, a multi-person battle with a dragon...

Capcom's PS4 exclusive Deep Down casual mode & more

At Sony's Tokyo Game Show press conference, Capcom's Yoshinori Ono was on hand to show off more of Capcom's PS4 exclusive Deep Down, which is looking more and more like Dark Souls (or perhaps Dark Souls 2). Though, counter to...

Deep Down a ways away, not related to Dragon's Dogma

During Sony's PlayStation 4 reveal event, Capcom showed off Deep Down, a game slated for PS4 and running on Capcom's next-gen engine, codenamed "Panta Rhei." The game looks positively medieval, not too dissimilar from Capcom ...
