This month, Dead or Alive 5 will be getting a free new island stage called "Zack Island" that I'm trying to type with a straight face, in addition to balance adjustments, updated movie upload functions, and more in update 1.03. It's actually available as of right now on PlayStation 3, and the Xbox 360 update will arrive on January 29, 2013.

Naturally, the beach setting is reason enough for swimsuit downloadable content, which Team Ninja has prepared in three Hotties Swimwear packs, available for $4.99 each or in a bundle for $12.99. The content is separated as such: Pack 1 (Kasumi, Kokoro, Helena, and Sarah); Pack 2 (Hitomi, Leifang, Mila, and Pai); and Pack 3 (Ayane, Christie, Tina, and Lisa).

The paid content will follow the same release schedule as the aforementioned update. It's also worth reminding that the PS3 version of the game and Dead or Alive 5 Plus for PlayStation Vita can share DLC items should you happen to have both.
