I've never played a Professor Layton game, but I would really like to. They seem to be full of simple charm and good atmosphere. I can't wait for a new game on a Nintendo home console (Come on, Nintendo! At least make it a wiiware title!).
@DarkHarry I love the professor layton, i just played the first one last year and i got hooked. They truly are amazing games. The developer of the series (level 5) has expressed interest in making a Wii U one, if that helps.
I'm still waiting for Professor Layton Vs. Ace Attorney. I've never played a Layton game, but Ace Attorney is one my most loved series of all time. It was the only series of games where I actually cared a lot about each character and I hated the villains.

@L3ED: as a big fan of both games' series, I recommend you to try at least the first Prof. Layton game. It gets better (the pinnacle is the third one) and I bet you'd enjoy Prof. Layton VS. Ace Attorney a whole lot more.
