Prince of Persia Warrior Within HD on PSN today photo

The PlayStation Blog has updated announcing that the second Prince of Persia HD release, Warrior Within, has been made available on the PlayStation Store. Like it's predecessor, Sands of Time, it has shiny, high-definition visuals and can be played in stereoscopic 3D. They have done nothing to alter Godsmack being on the soundtrack, however.

Speaking of sound, actually, that's something that I really hope is better with this release. Sands of Time HD sounded like you were in an echo chamber most of the time and it was a real turn-off. Personally, I lost interest in the original trilogy at exactly this point in its releases. I think it worked out rather well, considering.

Wouldn't blame you for enjoying it, however. And you can do so for $14.99 on the PlayStation Store right now.

Downloaded.

Hopefully they fixed the glitches as well as giving it the HD shine.

Yeah, this one was a little rough the first time around. On top of the crap audio with the first rerelease, anyone else get random freezes?

Best part of WW was rewinding time to hear what Dahaka was actually saying

I'm debating whether I should download these games on the PS3 or just download them off of Steam. Steam would be much cheaper if there's a sale and I have a pretty good graphics card so they should be on par with HD. I guess all I'd really miss out on is trophies.

Mmm... I like the game, despite Godsmack, but I just have too many games in the backlog to add ANOTHER one.

So, would I play it? Yes. Just not yet.

Yeah, alot more important things should be changed for this release, considering the original version was one of the buggiest most broken games I ever played. I loved the fact that after a certain point in the game, despite it being free-roaming, you were blocked from getting a life-upgrade, and therefore, blocked from getting the true ending. Fantastic work, Ubisoft!

Yeah, this game had some terrible bugs on par with Enter The Matrix. I fell through scenery more than once while playing this game.

I wish I skipped this game and got right to the good stuff.

I wish that they opted for the retail route instead, like in Europe. I would've bought these if they were in a $40 Blu-ray.

Although most people hated it, i think this one is actually my favorite POP. I bought it on the PC first time around. It looked stunning and played really well. loved it.

Why are they releasing this separately? Well, I don't really care for Warrior Within, so I think I'll pass on this. At least Sands of Time is up there and I love that game.

They should just update Sands of Time with the combat of Two Thrones and pretend all the other games never happened.

Did they fix the audio bugs in this game? If so I'd consider buying it. Warrior Within got a bad rap it didn't totally deserve.

Anyone play the newer one forgotten sands? It looks like a sands of time remake and is only $15 new, need some player feedback though, before I splurge that whopping $15.

@hillbillysk8

I bought it and took it back. Loved the older POP games, but forgotten sands is shitty. It felt clunky rather than fluid and everything about the game felt very forced and wrong. I don't think i managed to get even half way through it. It definitely felt like a movie tie-in to me :\

I'll pass. I have god of war collection, which I'm currently playing, but I'm finding it somewhat repetitive.
