The PlayStation Blog has updated announcing that the second Prince of Persia HD release, Warrior Within, has been made available on the PlayStation Store. Like it's predecessor, Sands of Time, it has shiny, high-definition visuals and can be played in stereoscopic 3D. They have done nothing to alter Godsmack being on the soundtrack, however.
Speaking of sound, actually, that's something that I really hope is better with this release. Sands of Time HD sounded like you were in an echo chamber most of the time and it was a real turn-off. Personally, I lost interest in the original trilogy at exactly this point in its releases. I think it worked out rather well, considering.
Wouldn't blame you for enjoying it, however. And you can do so for $14.99 on the PlayStation Store right now.
Prince of Persia Warrior Within HD today, only on PSN [PlayStation Blog]

Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!
Hopefully they fixed the glitches as well as giving it the HD shine.
Best part of WW was rewinding time to hear what Dahaka was actually saying
So, would I play it? Yes. Just not yet.
Yeah, this game had some terrible bugs on par with Enter The Matrix. I fell through scenery more than once while playing this game.
I wish I skipped this game and got right to the good stuff.
I am seriously considering pruchasing this come payday. (I'm supposed to buy Christmas presents for other people??)
I bought it and took it back. Loved the older POP games, but forgotten sands is shitty. It felt clunky rather than fluid and everything about the game felt very forced and wrong. I don't think i managed to get even half way through it. It definitely felt like a movie tie-in to me :\
