Agreed. I've got the Sands of Time trilogy on PS2. Great decision before I knew the whole flatscreen HD thing was going to catch on so well, and now, not so much. The PS2 were the worst versions, visually, and now I get to correct my mistake cheaply.
Works for me.
Also, does anyone know if the Splinter Cell games will be the Xbox or PS2 versions? I ask because I heard the PS2 versions aren't that good. Better question, do you think Ubisoft will update the online multiplayer for the games? Hope so.
Now all we need is a legit, release date for the Team Ico collection and an announcement of the Metal Gear Solid collection... yup, gonna go broke.
if your interested in Stealth.
Or if you have a PC, PS2 or Xbox bargain hunt and get those 3 games cheaper then the bundle.
Just no online on Xbox version :(
All are great, Chaos Theory is among the top dog of em all. Steller Camapaign, 2 Player Co-Op (Split Screen or Online) and the Unique 2v2 Multiplayer (Found in Pandora Tommorow made better).
They are already out in Europe on disc, and the PoP games are on PSN as far as I am aware.
These aren't Sly Cooper's or ICO. These were on original Xbox. So... um... share the love? We like being financially gutted by nostalgia too.
Or....you could buy the original xbox versions of these games, seeing as all of them are backwards compatible with 360.
Now that that's out of the way, where my Team Ico's HD collection? Since we're at it, give me a bundle with The Last Guardian and I stop moaning about HD remakes of games that are still achieving "classic" status.
If you want the disc, you could always just order it right now from playasia.com.
There's something wrong with the audio in Sands of Time, though, with the speech volume being alternately too loud or too soft compared with the rest of the sound effects in cutscenes and in-game.
