Prince of Persia gets 'Forgotten Arena' pre-order DLC
If you've been itching to kill countless waves of undead sand creatures, Ubisoft has got just the thing for you. The publisher has revealed a partnership with GameStop, offering up "Forgotten Arena" downloadable content as a pre-order bonus for the upcoming Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands. This extra game mode will have you battling hordes of baddies that come in waves, with your health replenished between each trial. The GameStop listing teases that killing more than 100 enemies would indicate that you "have what it takes to become a real Prince of Persia." (Jake Gyllenhaal does... do you?) The pre-order bonus is for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 only. Wii owners can find comfort in knowing that the SNES version of Prince of Persia ships on their Forgotten Sands disc. 360 and PS3 owners only have rumors of Prince of Persia: Classic being included. So take that! Prince of Persia [Facebook] Did you know? You can now get daily or weekly email notifications when humans reply to your comments.
Legacy Comments (will be imported soon)I always thought Forgotten Sands was a great name for this game because I keep forgetting that it exists. After 100 enemies you fight shirtless Jake. Everyone will lose to him because beating him means he takes off his pants, and no one wants that. Combat was never the strong point of the series so count me out on this bonus. I loved when they finally put one button stealth kills in the third game.
