I had no doubt that Atlus would put a lot of effort into the translation but its still good to be sure. Really excited for this game.

Looks good, but its not really a persona game (I know its a different genre and ip but still) Ill just wait for the next persona game, its on 3DS right?
I want this game. Hope both Catherine and Katherine to be likeable characters to make harder to choose one.
Sucks that Atlus's display was hidden in the Concourse Hall. I thought I wasn't allowed in since it had a ton of meeting rooms, but I took some pictures of the display artwork they had :3

I've got no interest in a puzzle game, but I'm glad Atlus has got their HD bag together. Hopefully that next RPG isn't too far off.

That said, I almost wish they'd make an Engrish version.. Theres something charming about the idea of this game being paired with horribly slaughtered (well.. more then the language usually requires) English.

I'm still not convinced that romance in which you make the protagonist fall in love with one character or the other is anything other than creepy and detrimental to character action; after all, if Vincent is a character with any personality, then what we think shouldn't impact who he falls in love with.
Anyway, this game looks like it's going to take the awkward creepiness of the Persona games to a new level, color me uninterested.

Lowenthal actually played Yosuke in P4, not Teddy. From what I've heard from the English demo he sounds like his Pharos voice in P3.

@Gatsby - You're assuming that the point of the game is who Vincent falls in love with, which actually isn't true.
I really hope that Persona 5 looks this good. More anime cutscene are a good thing.

Wiseman45: What is the point of the game? Some might say that the social link system wasn't the "point" of Persona 3; that there was a story and RPG gameplay there that operated outside that; and yet, if you spend a determinate amount of time playing a high school simulator when you're not doing those things, you can't deny that it's a significant element of the game.
Not all of Catherine will involve creepy relationship aspects, but the parts that do will be enough to turn me off.

Actually, all the relationship stuff that you actually take part in is with the random dudes who hang out at the bar. There is very little direct interaction with either Catherine. All of that stuff plays out by itself in cut scenes.
Most of the relationships stuff with other people involves helping those people solve their problems before they are killed. How you handle questions and reply to mails affects your eventual standing with each girl.
The story isn't about getting one of them to love you and half of the 8 endings don't end with you being with either girl. In fact, one of those girls is already his girlfriend so it's not necessary.
The story for Catherine is great and the endings are fun and interesting. Also there is definitely an SMT crossover element that is integral to the story. The puzzle parts are also a lot of fun. I've put about 60 hours into Catherine so far and I still pick it up occasionally and play. It's really a great game. Don’t write it off because you think it’s going to be a boring puzzler with a dating sim tacked on because it most certainly is nothing like that.

From the previous trailers I gotta say I'm really liking this dub, especially since I'm a sub person myself (there's only so much bad dub I can take) so I'm very excited for Catherine.
As for the cell shading engine, I gotta admit I'm a lot more partial to 2D animation, so sometimes I kinda wish Catherine's cut scenes were all in that medium, but doesn't mean the rest doesn't look great.

People complain about too many same-y JRPG's, but when a RPG company tries something new and completely different, they bitch it's not the same-y JRPG and go Buy Mass Effect 3 and TES: Skyrim, the same-y WRPG's... (Skyrim does look pretty awesome though)

The most important things about the english version of this game: Yoko Littner and Tohru Honda/Lust are in this game. Oh hell yes, Michelle Ruff and Laura Bailey. I'm pretty sure I'm going to be terrible at this game, but knowing that paring will be voicing the two main females is all I really need to know I'll be buying it.
@apoet001 - I was actually wondering if there was still anyone out there foolish enoguh to try and claim that people are only interested in this because they think it's a porn game, despite the fact that EVERYONE knows that it's not and have repeatedly stated that countless times since it was announced.

I really am considering getting this game. The only reason I'm on the fence about is because I don't actually own a ps3 or 360. Atlus usually makes quality, and the Persona team always makes quality, based on precedence.
