Although the Epic Games/Midway Unreal Tournament 3 Web site is still listed as "coming soon", a few new items were added to the site to keep you busy until the November release on PC and PlayStation 3.
Hop on over to check out the downloadable high-resolution trailers from E3 and Gamers Day as well as 28 downloadable screenshots (like the one above).
The 20-song Unreal Tournament 3 soundtrack is also available for your listening pleasure, although you're not able to download it. It's still a nice preview of things to come. While it's not the best stand-alone soundtrack, if you're anything like me, you'll feel the urge to play from just hearing it.
[Music4Games was kind enough to let us know that the Unreal Tournament 3 soundtrack can be downloaded from their site. Thanks, Greg]
[thanks, Justin]

Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!
This is one game I am jealous of PS3 owners for getting to play. This and R&C.
Yeah, it's kinda surprising that such a PC-centered game is being only released on PS3 on the console side, not on on the more similar 360.
@Professor Pew,
Yes, many of us Unreal fanboys were very excited to hear the soundtrack, its a frequently overlooked area of game development that can really add to a game.
Alice had one of the leads from Tool design the entire sound, Quake was NIN as we all know, Quake 3 was Sonic Mayhem and Fronline Assembly, Diablo was the Australian Orchestral blah blah...
Music is huge, and its being taken very seriously, the $$ spent on music is rivaling blockbuster movies now... and i for one love it...
Titans Quest had Bang Camaro do a melodic metal rendering of there theme.. the new Duke Forever is using riffs by Dave Mustang (rumored)
Sanitarium had the top trance and darkwave artists from the UK come together for a month of msuic magic...
Music is everything nowadays... it always has been, but people like EA that just license tracks and never even make a single song for the game fuck the scope of music back to pong... we need more original compositions, more outsorcing...
like the fact that a certain FPS talent will be using his skills in a new game soon (Sonic Mayhem) Oh HELL yeah!! he did Quake 2 mission packs 1&2 Wild 9, TMNT, and lastly the James Bond we all love... yeah he just did Hellgate: London and the new Beowolf game ...
FUCK YEAH! http://www.myspace.com/sonicmayhemmusic listen to faultline and tell me that doesnt kick ass!

And @Professor Pew, I always put some sweet darkstep DnB (eg Origin Unknown) or some trippy ambient (eg AFX) on while I play UT2k4. It's a sweet game to chill to during a comedown blaze up.
But man, I was hit by a wave of nostalgia when I heard that stuff. It's awesome, but more importantly some old 99 tunes have been remixed, to a far better quality than they were in 2004. Thank you EPIC for delivering that final touch.
This is the treatment of long time fans I wish so many developers would give. EPIC have my money, guaranteed.
I would bet a years salary that it'll be the last week of February before we see it.
FUCK!
