Pre-order Wii Play for $11.49 photo

Rush out to YesAsia to pre-order Wii Play for a whopping price of $11.49. Keep in mind that they offer free international shipping and will honor the probably-typoed price:

Q: Will my pre-order be affected if there is any adjustment in the product price?

    * If the price increases, the price of your pre-order remains unaffected.

The game, comprised of minigames, including Duck Hunt, comes with a packed-in Wiimote, which alone would run you about $45. The game is supposed to be released on Valentine's Day, so think of this as YesAsia's own way of getting into your e-panties this year. Barring that, you could always just get some chocolate.

I wouldn't imagine this price will stick around for long, so my advice to you is to hurry the hell up.

[thanks Sheir!]

Yea, it might be changing the price, or site updates.

Me, as with others, are wishing for the latter.

I was actually on the input shipping information screen when I realized I just don't really care about a tech demo for the Wii anymore, which, from what I've read, is really all that Wii Play is.

If I didn't already have 4 controllers I'd buy it for that alone, but I really want a REAL game, not fancy toys.

The included Wii remote makes it well worth it even if you never play the game.

Yeah, but I already have 4, why would I need a fifth? That's the only thing that stopped me.

Is their server normally this slow? I've got to the "place order" screen. I do have 4 wiimotes so a 5th won't help much, but I figure maybe I can sell it for a decent price.

You monocle-wearing rich fancy pants could always give that extra wiimote to a friend. :)

Well, if the order goes through maybe I could do that. And, how did you know I wear a monocle?

Christ this "place order" page is taking a damn long time. The first time I clicked after payment information it brought me to an "error" page telling me to check the URL. Went back again and went to checkout clicked place order again and I'm still getting the loading deal. Hopefully I didn't just order three of them...

It took a while, but I got it to go through. A new Wiimote for $14 shipped? Yes please.

I think I clicked about 4 times, and it only went through once so I think you're fine.

OP of the CheapAssGamer thread here.

I hope this will go through.

Thankfully, I will not be charged for the full price if this is fixed, for I am using a $40 debit card.

Plus, I placed my orders before the traffic jam.

@ bhive01:

"Miks-yez-pit-lik", it's on my profile page for future reference. :) And yes, I was on that show but I ended up on the cutting room floor. In addition to monocle-sense and an annoying-to-pronounce name, I have the special ability to memorize information of no practical use to anyone, like first edition AD&D rules or episode titles of Space Ghost: Coast to Coast.
