Everyone desperately awaiting the release of Mount & Blade: Warband, listen up: by pre-ordering the action-RPG, you'll be given immediate access to the single- and multiplayer beta. With the finished game releasing on March 30, now is the time to slam your fistful of cash on the counter.
While this type of game generally isn't relevant to my interests, I'm all about giving the smaller game releases some much-deserved love. I seem to recall Anthony digging the original Mount & Blade, and on that note, don't pirate it -- he can and will have you killed for doing so.
Anthony looked all menacing-like when he said it so it must be true.
Jordan Devore is Destructoid's PC gaming manager and founding ginger editor. He is said to be easy to love but difficult to know. When Samit inquired about his curious bio photo Jordan simply replied:
"bitches love sandcastles" ... yet, there is no sandcastle in that photo. We may never truly understand his ways.

Once modding gets a foothold in Warband, the multiplayer should get more interesting, and likely hilarious.
definitely picking this up eventually when I have the money, though. multiplayer siege battles with friends? are you kidding me? that's INSANELY cool!
I'll almost certainly be purchasing the final product anyway, but I still prefer to be as informed of a consumer as possible.
Hell, I paid less for M&B because I bought it in beta. Waiting for loyalty or regular discount now.

Verdict: Awesome!!! Multiplayer is soo fun! Right now theres a bug so that armor doesnt protect you so half of the players are running around naked (me included). Can't wait till the final version comes out next week.
Also the single player is bigger. New faction and a crap load more stuff in general. Worth the $27 with preorder.
