Sucks I work at a Gamestop and want the discount. Also, since I don't like 2142, its not that bad.

For the Gamestop one you get the dumb pre-order machine gun, the limited edition, and early access to squad rush mode. Plus the -5 from preordering and my discount.

But for anyone who doesn't have this/never played it, its a great deal

BF2142 was the best BF game. Go for it.

I haven't played 2142 in a while, might reinstall it with the new influx of players.

While it's heretical to say in most circles, it was probably my favorite Battlefield if only because it didn't have the massive balancing issues of its predecessors.

Planes are really really bad when they have no quality counter.

Battlefield 2142 is my favorite of the series. I hope this incentive to buy BC2 brings in a few more fun players.

these whole pre-order/special edition games are getting a bit rediculous, i understand when i paid $$ for GTA4 Special edition but at least i got a duffel bag, and safety deposit box, but the people are like hey spend 10-40 bucks more and were gonna give you an art book, i dont care about art of the game, and if i was really a die hard of the game why would i want a game i allready own, i.e. modern warfare giving out cod2, i allready own like every battlefield game, so why would i want another copy of what i already have, its not rewarding the die hard fans its slapping them in the face by giving them shit they dont want or need because they already have or have no use for. if i wanted to play the old games i would just do that, why would i buy the new game then at like quadriple the cost of 2142?

oh i pre ordered an earned a gun that i could just unlock if i played and earned it like everyone else, or hey they gave me a shitty M1 garand for a modern combat situation, why would i want an old civil war gun if i could use an ACR or one of the other many good guns we evolved throughout history.sure ill preorder, sure ill pay up front for a brand new game like i always do, but i cant promise ill go right back to modern warfare 2 like i did with bad company 1, coming from pc im not too much a fan of the limited enviroment of bad company, I was a huge fan of BF:1942 with the desert combat mod, that was a good game, a really good game, ac130, warthod, surface to air missles, that was good stuff, these remote control "UAV"s are kinda too gimicky for me, but well see...
