Team Destructoid has had a bit of a time sneaking around with the security guards posted everywhere. We're getting the stink eye mostly. We've done our best to find the unmanned stairways and corners to bring you this sneek peek of the first "new old" E3 show floor.
We're still about two days out from full launch, but booths are being assembled now in preparation. There's not much to look at yet, but you can tell that this E3's show floor, which now spans two full halls, is going to be way bigger than last year. We've got a bit of a balcony view of booths from Nintendo, Capcom, and Sony, all in their construction stage in our gallery below.
Even two days beforehand there's a good vibe. We can't wait to see it fully unveiled.

Dale North is Destructoid's Editor-In-Chief, a founding editor, and specialist in Japanese gaming. An accomplished musician, Dale was reporting from Japan during the earthquakes of 2011. Luckily, he got the fuck out alive and is home in America now with his wife and beloved corgi, Einstein. Dale is also a co-founder of Destructoid's sister anime site

It seems to me they're leaving it till the last second to put these stands up. I guess unless because they don't want people taking pictures really early (which failed) or they've only had this time to start.
I know there's a lot of mini booths etc. but I thought it would be a lot bigger.
