Earlier this week, Conrad and I got some mysterious mail for a place called Bright Dawn. The brochure was sent to various members of the press and everyone was left scratching their heads as to what it was about (I simply threw it out thinking it was junk mail).
As it turns out, the viral marketing letter is for Renegade Kid's Dementium II. The teaser for the game (after the break) is a promotional video for the Bright Dawn treatment center and it seems like things aren't so well at the center. Fair warning: You might not be able to sleep after watching the teaser. Seriously, I'm surprised at how creeped out I am after watching it.
Dementium II will be at E3 next week and we'll be sure to bring you a preview for the sequel to one of our favorite games of 2007.
Hamza Aziz, Destructoid's Community Director, has been here since day one. He was born when a tiger coughed up a hairball into a pool of ooze. He was one of the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles before budget cuts. Hamza works as a previews editor and manages a team in San Francisco. To date he has given away tens of thousands of dollars in prizes to readers. What a dick. Actually, Hamza is as kind as he is hairy.

Meet the rest of the team
I wonder if that means the game will be anything like this? With some crazy dual worldy stuff going on? Otherwise not that interested, Dementium was marginally interesting at best and Moon got boring after ten minutes.
FUCK! This teaser is awesome, a 50 year old guy doing yoga turns into a open skull with the brain falling out. Hope that this game be as good as the originals Silent Hill's
Must. Have. NOW!
PS: I was expecting Alan Wake, but this looks fine for me.
This looks really good. I dug the first one, but it did get pretty frustrating to die and lose an hour or more of progress. I think I got stuck somewhere around chapter 5 and never went back to it. Still, I'm all for horror games on the DS!

I think I want my mummy.....

haven't even heard of the series...do want.
Okay, you have me there.. Event Horizon is some really scary shit. Only ever watched it all the way through once.
Like when the guy was stretching on a cliff, he should have jumped off backwards.
That would have been creepy.
and the sewers are all muddied with a thousand lonely suicides
and a dark wind blows
the government is corrupt
and we're on so many drugs
with the radio on and the curtains drawn
we're trapped in the belly of this horrible machine
and the machine is bleeding to death
the sun has fallen down
and the billboards are all leering
and the flags are all dead at the top of their poles
it went like this:
the buildings tumbled in on themselves
mothers clutching babies picked through the rubble
and pulled out their hair
the skyline was beautiful on fire
all twisted metal stretching upwards
everything washed in a thin orange haze
i said: "kiss me, you're beautiful -
these are truly the last days"
you grabbed my hand and we fell into it
like a daydream or a fever
we woke up one morning and fell a little further down -
for sure it's the valley of death
I open up my wallet
and it's full of blood
very very neat, although not quite as nightmare enducing as i'd hoped.
I might check the two games out, though.
