Continuing the run of trailers to come out of tonight's GTTV E3 pre-show special, Bioware has released a new teaser for Mass Effect 2. It contains ships flying through space, robots, shooting and more than casual disbelief that Commander Shepherd is still alive.
I didn't even make it far enough into Mass Effect to see the interspecies erotica that everyone got in such an tizzy about. Not that I thought it was a poor game, it's just something I tend to do with RPGs. Still, I will admit that if they got tightened up the combat a bit, fixed the atrocious inventory system and enticed me with some more extraterrestrial badonkadonk, I might be down to give the sequel a try.
What's that? Oh, you wanted to actually view the trailer with your own eyes? Well, if you insist, click below and I'll have it there for you. God, you're so needy.

Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!
Anyways, I came.
Hopefully we get to visit Earth this time too.
They have faster-than-light travel but even with that it would still take an eternity to travel between galaxies. The mass relays allow for instantaneous transportation from one galaxy to the next.
Mostly right, but no travel between galaxies. That said, FTL works within a system, but between systems it would take years to travel despite FTL. That's where the relays come in. Same galaxy, different systems. The Reapers come from outside the galaxy.
Seeing as that was the entire game I guess I didn't like it.
But that doesn't stop me from thinking that I want to play Mass Effect 2 for some god forsaken reason.
I will be at E3 demoing it, the full demo has like 77x more awesome than the trailer! Stay tuned ;)
Yeah, sorry, don't know why I said galaxies. I meant systems. If you look at the way the Normandy would travel via the galactic map it'd use FTL between different systems in a given cluster of stars. Anything further out and you'd get the mass relay loading screen.
TEASE!
