Pre-E3 09: Bethesda's next game gets teased

11:24 PM on 05.28.2009

During GameTrailers TV's 2009 VGA's E3 First Look Special (what a mouthful), Bethesda Softworks' next videogame was shown ... at least I think it was. The game, which is headed to Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC as a Games for Windows LIVE title in spring 2010, is being worked on with Splash Damage, and is -- last I heard -- a first-person shooter.

And that, my friends, is about all there is for me to tell you about Brink. No footage was shown for the title during the GTTV special, only a short teaser that doesn't make a whole lot of sense out of context. For the curious, it's located after the break.

I am hopeful that Bethesda will reveal more during E3 next week, but you never know. Make it happen, guys!

Oh The Evil Within, how I can't wait for you to scare the every living daylights out of me. Shinji Mikami's past games were my first tastes of the survival horror genre, and I'm quite looking forward to see what he does with...more
