Pre-E3 09: Bethesda's next game gets teased

11:24 PM on 05.28.2009

During GameTrailers TV's 2009 VGA's E3 First Look Special (what a mouthful), Bethesda Softworks' next videogame was shown ... at least I think it was. The game, which is headed to Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC as a Games for Windows LIVE title in spring 2010, is being worked on with Splash Damage, and is -- last I heard -- a first-person shooter.

And that, my friends, is about all there is for me to tell you about Brink. No footage was shown for the title during the GTTV special, only a short teaser that doesn't make a whole lot of sense out of context. For the curious, it's located after the break.

I am hopeful that Bethesda will reveal more during E3 next week, but you never know. Make it happen, guys!

The Evil Within jump starts the scares a week earlier than planned

If indecision frightens you, then there's plenty to be scared of when it comes to The Evil Within. Originally slated for an August release, Bethesda pushed it back to October 21. Now that we're a bit closer to that window, th...more

We can't see the new Doom yet, but it sounds like a return to form

Bethesda said its big reveal of Doom -- that is in fact "Doom," not "Doom 4" -- at QuakeCon would be for attendees only, not for us Internet ne'er-do-wells, but I still watched the QuakeCon stream like a sucker, anyway. When ...more
