In a few minutes we will begin making a few changes to the navigation of the web site. We've consolidated a few menus, spat a little turtle wax here and there, and are in the process of sneaking in a new feature of the site called Community Blogs. Dust off those black suits, gentlemen -- we want to bring you to the party.
As the name implies, you'll be able to blog within Destructoid about games or your miniature donkey collections as you damn well please. Your blogged stories will appear on a new sidebar right above our Top 20 so all the regulars that roll by can see the latest upcoming stories you're working on, or browse to your blog with the new Community Blogs tab up top. This feature is a Beta and, truth be told, will probably suck for a few weeks until we fine tune it. We'll make another announcement when you can play with it. Until then, watch for pretty pitchurs.
I can say so much more about why this is necessary not just for Dtoid but moreso for the industry, but I think I'll save that speech for a different occassion. Welcome to Zoo Station gamers; speak and do as you please.

Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!

Or perhaps it's just a means of getting potential blaggers here instead of another non-dtoid blag page.
Having said that, I may just end up using it myself. Now you'll have to use somthing more than your hands to block out my inane ramblings.

Also, if a blogger blogs on a blog in the middle of the blogosphere and nobody is around to comment, did he blog a blog?
