Portmanteau: Blizzcon recovery mode

2:53 PM on 08.06.2007

This is usually where I would write a couple of words and maybe draw some boobs, but why do something crazy like that when I can have someone else do it for me? That's why I'm letting last weeks winner, Blufire, take over for me temporarily. For those of you who are still wondering...

What is a portmanteau?
A portmanteau is basically an educated (and at times, not-so-educated) guessing game where you ask yes or no questions to figure out the solution. The solution is always a game title and a movie title that share a word, such as Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World of Warcraft

"OMGTHATISSOSTUPID!!!!" First of all, your birth was an accident, and second of all, once you get your hands dirty with a port it's actually pretty addictive. It does take a bit of time and some brain functionality though, which is why I gotta sit this one out. You have no idea how hard it was to not turn this into a rant about Death Knights...

Rules and shizzle:

1: The game can be found on Gamespot.com using their extensive Gamefinder database.

2: The movie can be found on the Internet Movie Database.

3: Listening to Destructoid theme song entries will help you solve the port.

4: You can only make two guesses or questions at a time, then you must wait until your questions are answered before asking again.

Examples of questions are as follows:

Does the game have online multiplayer?
Is the movie rated R?

5: The person who solves Blufires port can then make one of their own in this thread and so on and so forth until no one wants to play anymore, which is usually around the time that Gomeja starts playing.

Ready?

Blufire is thinking of a portmanteau...
