This is great news. I am a big Porsche fan, and having no Porsches in Forza is part of the reason that I haven't picked it up yet.
So will we be expected to pay for this content that should have shipped with the original game before EA stuck their oar in?
I hope they didn't have to pay much to the EA devil for this. Perhaps a Ferrari for Porsche exchange, since Turn 10 had exclusivity with Ferrari.
Not bad, I guess. We probably wouldn't have gotten much more than what we got with the RUF rebadge jobs if Porsche was in from the beginning. but now we get to have the fun confusion of probably 20 different versions of the 911. any word on what the new modes are?
EA's exclusive deal with Porsche has expired so Turn10 can now work on it. hopefully we will get at least one car for Autovista.
I always liked the look of the vintage 911s. My only gripe with DLC cars in games of this type is there aren't any races for these cars so you're forced to go back and compete in series you've already completed.
Rear-engine/RWD vehicles are great for getting people into sim racers as you can basically drift allover the place. (hell I still enjoy it in GT5 with my tuned/tweaked Yellowbird and I know better)

30 cars is quite a bit, which is nice. But man, they are chipping away at my points with all the DLC. I wish they would just expand the overall car list from the getgo.

I'm not surprised that they would do this since they have all those Porsche models lying around from FM 3. Still, I have to buy it simply to get the 914 back.
It's about time this expansion appeared. Forza 4 just hasn't felt complete without some Porsche goodness.
For$a has had one too many "add-on's" for me not to think it is blackmail... Especially considering the "add-on's" were likely done before the release, and none of the "add-on's" actually add functionality to the game. This is bs.
