PopCap gets fancy with new Xperia phones photo

PopCap, known for their simple yet addictive games, has signed a deal with Sony Ericsson. The Xperia mini and mini pro will come pre-loaded with 'Games by PopCap' which means that buying one of those specific phone models will get you a full unlock of Chuzzle. Their other titles, such as Plants vs Zombies and Peggle will come in unlimited trial and be available for purchase using an integrated billing system.

I am a fan of PopCap, and have enjoyed their games quite a bit, so I'm pleased to see that they're continuing to do well. Some (including myself) may have felt concern or doubt about the company's future after another bit of business  recently went down, but between this news and their newest title, the future is looking bright for this popular maker of casual games.

Peggle 2 ricochets onto Xbox 360 on May 7

Though early adoption of new consoles is something I tend to avoid these days, there is one game that has made me jealous of Xbox One users: Peggle 2. Soon enough, the ball-bouncing lesson in geometry and rainbows will not be...more
