I understand why they wouldn't call it Pokémon + Nobunaga's Ambition outside of Japan, but there's got to be something better than Conquest, right?
Conquest is a pretty standard name for a tactical rpg... at least to a knowledgable gamer, that would probably give you a pretty good idea of what kind of game it is...

Kind of interested in this, though I've heard it's not a very challenging game. On one hand, I'm happy about this because it'll be accessible to kids who could very well learn that they love srpgs and want to play more, but on the other hand, doesn't leave me in a great position. I'll probably pick it up to support it though :)
I'm not going to lie, I am honestly surprised. Did not expect to see this outside of Japan. Awesome.

This is awesome. I love tactical games, and one based around Pokemon sounds beautiful. I can not wait to play this.

Premise: yeah, I'd write it off.. DS game: No, because theres still quite a few of those coming out despite the weird "we've got to jump to the next system or else"-ness everyone seems to have taken with the 3DS, which has been completely unwarranted.
I can't wait to get into the discussion with my friends daughter about how this game probably isn't going to be something she likes....
Honestly guys, If you want this one I'd preorder it to make sure you get a copy, cause I have a sick feeling in my stomach that even though its a pokemon game, its going to come and go and never get a reprint here.

Now we need localized versions. Pokemon in the 30-year war for Europe! Pokemon in the War of Independence for the US! Pokemon and History, my friends... the possibilities are ENDLESS.

I think I'll pass on this one, but I'll gladly take the Shiny Rayquaza they were giving out along side it. Japan got it, we should too.

I am shocked that this is heading Stateside, and thrilled that you alerted us to it, Destructoid! Pre-ordered through Amazon. Quite a day! Catching up with Dtoid this morning, Jim's post has me headed to a GameStop to track down 'Xenoblade' (exclusivity be damned; rather not miss out!), and hearing there's even a *chance* I can play this had me cracking out the Amazon creditcard!
