Quantcast

Earlier today the brand-spanking-new Pokemon games, Diamond and Pearl, were released in Japan. Nintendo shipped two million copies, one million of each game, to retailers all over Japan. However, in only a matter of a couple of hours, ALL of the copies were sold. All of them. Along with the two million games sold, Nintendo also made out with over 500,000 new Nintendo DS handhelds sold. I really didn't know that people still cared about Pokemon. I mean, sure, Red and Blue were epic, industry changing roleplayers, but Diamond and Pearl? To me, once you've played one Pokemon game, you've played them all. What do our readers think? Are you guys (and gals) sick of Pokemon games? How do you think Diamond/Pearl will sell in America? [Via NGC France]
