At sony's press conference, a new trailer for MGS4 was shown and bricks were shat. Kojima has stated (through his translator) that MGS4 will tie up loose ends and be the final chapter and his final game(so he says..). So with kojima out, what will konami do for future installments of the Metal gear franchise? Will they do games between games, (Ex. what happened between 2 and 4?) do a remake of the original metal gear/metal gear : solid snake/*shudder* snake's revenge? Your thoughts?

Workman and Niero's appearance at my place of work marked the first time I felt compelled to sharpie the word "cock" on a piece of paper and carry it around the office - though hopefully not my last. For any of you who got to try out the Wii Balance Board, do you think that it is responsive/sensitive enough for developers to use it for other applications, such as an FPS (in conjunction with the wiimote) or simulation games, and not feel like some gimmicky peripheral?
From an outside perspective, it looks like it could open up many possibilities for creative controls that haven't been seen in games before, as well as many more ways to look like a complete tool.

Amongst the Fallout fans in the cast (if any), what is the feeling that has developed after seeing more of Bethesda's take on the franchise? Can it still be Fallout with radically different presentation and gameplay?

were there any other games that were like everyday shooter where they were simple arcade style games that didn't bring much graphically but gameplay wise was killer?

It has long been common knowledge around the village that MicroSoft (as championed by Mjr. Nelson) has tried to disown off the 'big bad corp.' image by making bedfellows of the Wii. Upon launch of the Wii, MjeNelson only just managed to get the Wii-cock out of his mouth long enough to sing it's praises. This allowed for the PR savy bastards at MS to rip shreds off the PSTriple AND still claim that they are fair and balanced ("See, we love the Wii (which we thought would be flop, so was safe to support) so our praise for 360 isn't shill-tastic, it's balanced!").
Question time :the long: - now that the Wii has been such a success and has definately stolen sales from 360 (I'm SO much more a casual gamers now...), will the MS spin doctors find a way to brush off their pre-occupation with the Wii and start taking PS3 from behind? If so, how?
and :the short: Is microsoft so shallow as to put it's allegence behind a failing (previously Wii, now PS3) opposition console just to give the appearance of nutrality and the right to bag a geniuine competitor (previously PS3, now Wii)?

Nintendo gave us the goods but was Wii fit foucus was a little dumb they should have showed off mario more. i think we need a trailer for all the games they showed. The viral ads were alittle much. who do you think did the best job at E3 not who won but who got you amped for there games.

alot of people think that sony was real impressive at e3 and they will probably come back on top as the reigning leader of video gameing, but from what i noticed they were mostly about home, playstation network downloads, new versions of systems with sub-par sales, metal gear 4 and a small amount of exclusives that don't appeal all gamers. do you think that this is really going to do alot to help them rise to number one again or do they need to do more than home and cheaply made games to sell as downloads to make the system desirable and rise to the top again, and if they lose metal gear as an exclusive will that be another nail in their proverbial coffin?
Words are swirling around the nets that "Black Dog" by Led Zeppelin and "Highway to Hell" by AC/DC are playable songs in Guitar Hero III, via a leak from E3. Is this true? Is someone going to get a legal ass-raping?

What do you think that game will be like, and when do you think it will arrive, if at all? Or has it already arrived?

2) Its gotten out over the internets that Adam Sessler isn't a complete asshat. Any chance of extracting him from G4 for a minute or two to let him be himself on D-toid/Podtoid? I think he'd have a whole Bob-Sagat-doing-his-stand-up-routine-instead-of-that-network-family-TV-BS sort of vibe if he rolled up in our community.

What PlayStation 3 exclusives will make a PlayStation 3 worth buying? I'm just looking for an excuse to buy one, but as it stands right now, Sony's game catalog is lacking.
