I mean, fucking portal! AND TF2! Is there a reason that this shouldn't be at least a contender for GotY?
From an outside perspective, it looks like it could open up many possibilities for creative controls that haven't been seen in games before, as well as many more ways to look like a complete tool.

Someone dissed Dtoid?
I know they have some great games coming out in '08 but is there a 'killer app' that could tame Sony (i.e. Killzone, MGS4, GT5 etc...) I'm not including the Wii because in my eyes their tapping into a totally different market.
Kudos's for your refreshing coverage on E3 also guys! Glad to see ye had a awesome time (despite the downscaling of the event) I was stuck indoors during Ireland's worst July in 70 odd years! (Weather-wise, we simple folk have an innate fear of the rain you see!)

It has long been common knowledge around the village that MicroSoft (as championed by Mjr. Nelson) has tried to disown off the 'big bad corp.' image by making bedfellows of the Wii. Upon launch of the Wii, MjeNelson only just managed to get the Wii-cock out of his mouth long enough to sing it's praises. This allowed for the PR savy bastards at MS to rip shreds off the PSTriple AND still claim that they are fair and balanced ("See, we love the Wii (which we thought would be flop, so was safe to support) so our praise for 360 isn't shill-tastic, it's balanced!").
Question time :the long: - now that the Wii has been such a success and has definately stolen sales from 360 (I'm SO much more a casual gamers now...), will the MS spin doctors find a way to brush off their pre-occupation with the Wii and start taking PS3 from behind? If so, how?
and :the short: Is microsoft so shallow as to put it's allegence behind a failing (previously Wii, now PS3) opposition console just to give the appearance of nutrality and the right to bag a geniuine competitor (previously PS3, now Wii)?

I've been working in the games industry for a few years now, and I've seen a lotta weird stuff, but I've never seen one all-powerful title that breaks the line and makes people say "Okay, this is now truly a mainstream form of media that the masses can enjoy." What do you think that game will be like, and when do you think it will arrive, if at all? Or has it already arrived?

1) Metroid Prime 3: Seriously, is it really that good?
2) Its gotten out over the internets that Adam Sessler isn't a complete asshat. Any chance of extracting him from G4 for a minute or two to let him be himself on D-toid/Podtoid? I think he'd have a whole Bob-Sagat-doing-his-stand-up-routine-instead-of-that-network-family-TV-BS sort of vibe if he rolled up in our community.
3) Out of the whole new E3 experience, who can has cheezburger?

B) Adam Sessler is a very well spoken, highly intelligent, and very funny person when he's not forced to read from a prewritten cue card. If you want to hear a good podcast he did about a year or so ago check out the one he did over at Weezy and the Swish.
I've been begging them to get him on podtoid for a while now.
