I'm personally very excited for it (have been for years) and given your recent trip into MMO playing/reporting with your new PC rig, I'm interested to know if you'll be picking this one up as well.
Do you think there is a way that developers can use day one DLC in a positive way? For example if you buy the game in the first month you can get the day one DLC for free. Instead of online passes and DRM harming the dedicated and paying consumers, the publishers can actually reward their consumers who support them. Of course, the DLC should not be ON the disc *cough* CAPCOM *cough*

It's looking like 6,000 people will be forced into redundancy soon, and the company's share prices dropped by 95% in the last few months. Any thoughts on the Mass Effect ending controversy? Not just related to the game itself, but the whole concept of BioWare patching/DLCing a 'better' ending in. Personally, I like the endings (fan theory assisted), but the idea of patch-fixing a games story is intriguing to me.

In the wake of Phil Fish's comments, there's been a lot of backlash against indie developers, who have now been labeled "pretentious hipsters". However, people forget that Notch and Team Meat started out just like these other guys, and I feel like even some of the "pretentious" indie developers like Jonathan Blow and Cactus have a lot more to offer in terms of creativity than established publishers. The industry needs a kick in the ass from somewhere, and these guys are trying their best. Which do you think will ultimately be more harmful: the supposed elitism of indie developers, or the anti-intellectualism and blind loyalty to established conventions that many gamers seem to exhibit?
