The box looked exactly like the Sims 3 box (including the back), and the only clues as to what was actually included were a bit of tiny letters saying that it had some developer interviews/game footage and a song download for Sims 3. Oh, and a $5 off coupon.
What do you think of this? Is this a neat new way to get stuff like interviews, a coupon, and hype of a game out to the common public? Or is this a really cheap way to get a quick buck and a shady marketing tactic (seeing as the box for the box it comes in on the shelf looks almost identical to the actual game and it costs a dollar)?
